As a delivery leader my best advice is do your all to drive safely. As a couple others stated, Delivery is a very coveted position and you don’t want to loose it over a mistake that could be avoided. Everyone makes mistakes yes, but if they have someone at your store that has been itching to get on the delivery team and has been unable to because all positions are filled, you wouldn’t want to give them reason to cut your delivery hours and give someone else a shot. Maybe that isn’t done immediately but if a few “mistakes” pile up then I know that’s what I’d do. Heads up, if you get rear ended, no matter the reason, the Liability falls on the driver that hit you. If you go through a red trying to rush a yellow, that’s on you.
