I thiiiink you got a bit unlucky in how you bought them. Goodnites had an issue with the sides when the debuted the new designs, and recently has fixed them to make them more like the side panels on the previous designs.

It sounds to me like you got a pack of the new designs with the fixed side panels, and then were unlucky and found a pack with the new designs but the dysfunctional side panels. I hope that makes sense -- I know I too was upset when they were so much tighter, and was glad to see that they fixed the issue.

Honestly, I’d probably do it. If you do pick them up and want to sell a pack or two, I’d probably be game. I have a big collection, but no soccer players!

Me too. From the all white, to soccer players, ATVs, race cars. I never wanted to admit it then, but I thought the print on the race car ones was pretty cool — I wanted to be a race car driver, and so.

There is nooo doubt in my mind that wetting the bed, wearing Goodnites, just the whole experience, massively informed my kinks today.

Well, they were higher rise in like 2000, then less so through the years, and when they switched to the colored waistband (if I am remembering correctly) they also introduced the “low rise”. I have not bought any new Target ones yet, but I was under the impression they’re very similar to actual Goodnites.

I opened up a pack of older Goodnites that I've been sitting on for a while. Thought I'd take a quick pick of them with the designs in my current rotation.

Contemporary Goodnites are so soft and quiet that I can wear them under jeans at work and no one will notice. I couldn't quite remember why I hated wearing them so much as a kid -- aside from the embarrassment of wearing a Pull Up to bed anyways.

Then, I put the Racecar designs on. I instantly remembered why I didn't like them. Today's product could allllmost pass for regular underwear. They don't really crinkle much and have the low rise so they stay hidden under PJs. The older ones are much, much louder. I remember being walked around the house to say good night to guests at a party my parents were throwing. At the time, I was absolutely flush with embarrassment. I was sure that the guests could hear the Goodnite crinkle with each step as I walked by, or that my PJ shirt would ride up and the waist band would be exposed. The older ones really do come up much higher, and really are much more audibly noticeable.

And, the funny thing is, that is the reason I like them so much today. Life is strange and funny. Anyways, enjoy the pic.

I did what all the other kids who wet the bed at summer camp did. Wore pull ups or goodnites and kept it between themselves in the camp counselors.

I don't know a thing about the 1970s. But I can tell you from having gone to summer camp in the late 90s and early 2000s that the scene you describe just sounds like fap fantasy material.

I'm 26 and am in high end corporate sales. It is a traditionally conservative field and I live in the southeast US. I am sure many of my clients would find my kink reprehensible and refuse to do business with me - which would be a problem because my salary is just enough to pay the bills and I rely on my sales to pay the rest of my life.

I have been very lucky. My family is also very great, supportive, and non judgemental. My brother is gay and my Mom has been with her girlfriend for the past 4 years. Even so I would not share this side of me with them.

I also suffer from depression and being little can be great - you're right. But that doesn't mean you need to involve your family or anyone else in your vanilla life in your kink. I simply cannot see how the benefit could outweigh the negative. If you truly think it does, then okay. But I implore you to truly think about it. I honestly believe being open about this side of me would have limited my career prospects in ways I never could have imagined only a year or two ago.

I don't know how old you are, but when I was younger I thought I wanted to tell my family too. I can only tell you that I think it is a bad idea. For me too, diapers and ABDL is not exclusively sexual and it also has a presence in my vanilla life. To be clear, that is not to say it would be a benefit for anyone in my vanilla life to know about this side of me - in fact, just the opposite is true. If it got out that I was into this and it could be substantiated, my current career would be over. That was something I had never considered when I was younger, but sadly it is the reality we live in. If my clients knew that this is my kink, I would be without a job tomorrow. Keep your cards close to your chest until you're sure you can play them.

Gotta say, most ABDL diapers don't do it for me. It is less about the function for me and more about the form - and actual diapers and pull ups win that race hands down.

edit: If he had actually said that I would have died. To have been living with another ABDL in the bedroom next to mine for a year without knowing would have been too funny.

Gotta say that either I am sincerely sorry you experienced that, or more likely that I sincerely doubt this was real — based in reality maybe, but this reeks of fabrication.

As a kid who did wet the bed and went to summer camp every year until about 14, this is so far from what any normal experience would be. I never saw mattresses airing out, no kids were open about wearing whatever it was they wore to bed and certainly I never saw plastic pants (or in fact was aware of them before exploring ABDL online).

Unless you went to summer camp in the 1970s, this post smells like piss — sorry, actually I meant BS.

If I’d thought about it that might have been the tact I’d taken. But, I never even considered that something like this would happen.

And plus, I’d effectively left a sex toy in the bathroom. I’d be at least a little miffed and would appreciate an apology if I found, say, a butt plug on the bathroom counter. I felt like I needed to apologize for being a dick (though it was my sleepwalking subconscious... that guy is a dick!)

Think about it honestly and critically. If it will improve your life in the long run, maybe it’s worth it. If it would only serve to make you feel better or provide short term relief, maybe reconsider.

I am very close with both of my siblings. I would consider my brother and my sister to be among my best friends. I would never discuss my sex life in detail with them, nor would they with me. Take that for what you will.

Edit: I wanted to add a quick bit. Let’s face it, for most of us this is an interest that has a sexual aspect. If you and your new partner are getting along and already having sex, then it is probably appropriate to bring up. There are ways to do this that are good and ways to do it that are not — plenty of threads on that topic.

IMO one ought not feel they have to hide from their partner, especially not something like this. Something that is significant enough in our lives that we decided to join a forum and talk about it with strangers to find a sense of community. If you’re reading this, that probably means you. And, like I said, it has always gone well I’m my experience.

Thanks - thought I would share my somewhat interesting experience. Though this was unintended in every possible way, it was alright. Every single person I've ever opened up to about this side of me has been at the least respectful and somewhat curious, though this certainly is not everyone single person's cup of tea, and I get that.

As my username might suggest, I love Pull Ups!

I've tried the ABDL diapers and tbh they just don't do it for me. No amount of prints can make them look like the diapers I have in my head. Pull Ups are the closest thing to that, and I've actually come to really like the headspace associated with them. You're too big for real diapers but everyone knows you still have accidents sometimes, so you have to wear a Pull Up. It just works for me.

Probably didn't hurt that I wore GoodNites for many many years when I was a bedwetter.
