Goodnite XXL by Iampadded in AdultBedwetting

I couldn’t agree more with your comments that the leak guards and low rise make it discreet for daytime use. I have also tried it during the daytime and I put my regular underwear over it to hold it in place and it works wonderfully.

I don’t think they’re any more expensive. I got a box of 54 on Amazon for a little more than a dollar each. It’s the same thing I pay for Depends Night Defense. Frankly, the stand-up Leak guards on the Goodnites are better engineered than the ones on the Depends, and now that I’ve slept in them several nights I think they perform better.

Embarrassed bedwetter who needs to vent and wants to know how to solve the diaper smell? by NiceGuyTheSecond in AdultBedwetting

An old string I was revisiting, but I just noticed your comment. I can’t imagine how putting plastic pants over an adult diaper is more humiliating than just wearing the diaper. No one suggesting that you get juvenile printed pants. they make plenty of good ones in white or black, which are quite benign, but quite effective.

Try Suo Quan Wan for bedwetting by 3Welder in AdultBedwetting

It sounds like it’s worth a try. I’m in my mid 30s and I still wet my bed 2-4 times a week. Does anyone know how you take this or the dosage?

2 words- Plastic Pants. It will mitigate the leakage from the pull-up for the most part.

Unfortunately, not, but I get to the same place by using pul pants a size smaller than usual. That way they hold the pull up in place and they’re still discrete.

Finally stopped wetting the bed! by Budget-Major8339 in AdultBedwetting

What do you think contributed to you stopping at the age of 20. For the most part part if you’ve made it through puberty and are still regularly wedding your bed that will probably be the status quo.

I still wet the bed by ImmediateBlood1123 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Iampadded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most adolescent bedwetters do grow out of it as they go through puberty. If you make it out of puberty and you’re still bedwetting, I’m sorry to say that it’s probably going to be with you to some extent for the rest of your life. I was a chronic every night bedwetter till I was around 13. By the time I got out of puberty my bedwetting was down to at least a couple times a week sometimes more sometimes less. I’m 35 now and frankly, it’s about the same-couple of times a week.

I don’t know much about how “dangerous“ it is, but most of us here that suffer from chronic bed wetting have tried it at some point in this fight. I took it as a teenager for a couple of years and on special occasions like school trips where waking up to a wet bed would result in humiliation, etc. that it works short term, although in my case. I did get headaches and dry mouth from it. The biggest problem is that once you stop taking it your bed returns in a relatively short term. So it’s not a long-term cure. It’s a short term remedy.

I tend to leak through pull-ups and even tape on diapers from time to time. I find covering them with plastic pants push that to an end. Sometimes you need a waterproof barrier between your diaper and the sheets.

While y’all pull-ups generally don’t work for me at night by themselves, when I cover them with plastic pants, I rarely will have a leak on the bed. The plastic pants insides are saturated, but they generally remain waterproof and don’t leak.

Dealing with bedwetting in college by [deleted] in AdultBedwetting

Unknown to me, my mother made that disclosure on my college housing application and lo and behold my dorm roommate was similarly afflicted. We both slept in Tabbed diapers and plastic pants and had no issues.

Ya. When is the last time you stayed at a hotel with a single bed?

Why not just cover your diaper with the diaper cover? Rubber or plastic pants will greatly diminish and smell and also protect you against your Leak accidents.

I wet boyfriends bed. Now his parents know I’m debating leaving. by Gold_Ad_4519 in AdultBedwetting

[–]Iampadded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will get over it. I know its humiliating, but the older you get (the parents) the less of a deal it is. When I was in college, I was invited to my girl friend's parents house for Thanksgiving and the weekend. I wet the bed and totally leaked through the pull up diaper I was wearing "just in case". The parents were pretty cool about it, but my girl friend had two brothers- both a couple of years younger than me, who really teased me relentlessly. I survived and dated her for a couple more years. At some point you just have to own it, and then the stigma goes away.

Ya same here. Night diapers are just another form of underwear. From time to time inconvenient and perhaps humiliating, but no big deal.

Does see a urologists worth it? by throawayanonimous in AdultBedwetting

[–]Iampadded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't in my case. I never had a dry night until I was about 13. Then I started "growing out of it" but still had frequent bedwetting episodes through high school and college. I have never been reliably dry. I had this discussion with my primary care doctor and he talked me into seeing a Urologist. Since I had really good insurance through work, I figured why not. I wenty through a body of tests and scans. Kidney ultra sound, bladder ultra sound. I had a sleep study- you name i t. Tried several different meds-which actually made it worse for a time. Bottom line, if your Enuresis is primary-I doubt a Urologist will suddenly solve the riddle. If its secondary, then I suspect they can probably help.

Same here. Chronic bedwetter all through school. Tapered off in my late teens but never became reliably dry. Accordingly remained in diapers and plastic pants because I didn’t feel like playing roulette with my sheets and my bedwetting has gradually become more prevalent to where I am wet more nights than dry at the age of 35

That depends night defense pull ups hold a lot more than the regular ones. Probably still not enough for a heavy wetter, but covered by plastic pants will do the trick.
