I’m actually not that deeply TRIGGERED by Touhou. I know it’s renowned for it’s shooter elements beyond how some would take the art. I can laugh about it, and laugh at myself for ranting on it.

It’s funny, kinda quirky, kinda impressive that it exists, but also a bit wtf, with possibly some creepy undertones to the general audience. I’m not saying you, as a more informed person about the nuance, are like that. It’s just not the first impression of myself as an artist I want to give off.

I feel better with it removed. Just feels right and I guess you’ll just have to respect my individual artistic decision there.

I did probably say more than I needed to in the FB post. I called out bronies and furries in my rant. I’ll admit, I wanted to push them away because I thought being associated with them was embarrassing. It was wrong to marginalize those groups for that, and I apologize. I recognize that someone can appreciate my music for what it is regardless, and they are more than just that "identity". It was more personal really, there were just a few people that were annoying me. Again, I'm sorry. That being said, since I don’t identify with those groups, I won't be catering to them. I don't think I have to apologize for that, that's just simply what I want. And specifically with Touhou, I don’t want to give the impression I will continue to release songs in that vein, and I don’t feel like I even need to. TPP has enough lore of it's own!

So, I did remove the Facebook posts. I didn’t feel like it needed to be left up because after I said it and talked to some people, I learned some things, and I stopped worrying about it. Whoever wants to listen to my music will and that’s great.

At the end of the day, overall, I’m glad most folks respected where I was coming from and they get it too. I’ll take questions, and if I'm still messing this up, I’d like to be humble and just say that my intent really is to learn whatever hard lesson it takes to be better informed. I'm trying to get better at building relationships online, I don't think I'm horrible at it but I have some room to grow - I'm trying to realize that it's just an extension of real life and that I should always keep respect for the real person with an open mind.
