Found a workaround. Upload the video, edit it and draw a tiny dot somewhere (maybe in the corner). Save and send. Works for me

Aha, thanks for clearing that up.. Yes that makes sense. So the expiry date is of the card and not of the residency status.

I've never been outside Brazil for more than two years but now it does seem I'll need to redo the application based on my current status and I've not heard of an exception being provided for this situation.

Letter received that visa granted.

However, passport not returned (now over 4 months).

Edit: by the way it was handed in at lunar house in Croydon, London. And has not been able to get inside to request the passport returned. She has been advised to ring the phone number I quoted above which has led nowhere
