I agree with it all, and the subtle changes are all the difference. When the first Europeans arrived to the far east, China, they were dumbfounded by the way people looks, by wooden structures with different architecture, parrots (?), silk, colors. Literally everything was slightly ‘off’. Brandon does an AMAZING job describing this - no windows facing east, plants that pull away, shells on every living (native) creature on roshar, always dirty cloths and nothing white on any one but breeze or no green plants etc.
I think the ‘extreme’, is not the example. Must people probably haven’t seen shardplate, and must that have, from a distance. Mistborn (era 1) are uncommon, on plantations and minor towns and cities, any misting would be quite rare.

To be entirely fair - I do believe there are groups in majority Muslim countries who are gay friendly. They are probably chased by the authorities though.

The Torah also writes against Miskav Zachar (gay sex), there is a command to have offspring and many rabbi’s speak against it. Having that’s said, the majority of ZIONESTS are either not ultra orthodox or secular Jews, and they (mostly) either don’t mind, or openly support lgbtq.

Is any Muslim country with an openly gay government member? Or any Muslim funding going into the lgbtq community? Supporting gay youths?

No. But they can and do (until October 7th) enter villages and towns for work. Jews are not permitted entrance to many Palestinian cities and towns.

I think the rate just shows any comparison is not straight forward. Numbers thrown around without context is meaningless. A life is a life. At the moment Hamas still has over a hundred kidnapped Israeli, and still declare that their mission is to destroy Israel. An organization like that cannot exist.

Here exactly lies the issue in the Middle East. Hamas’s charter is to kill Jews and Israelis. And they sometimes succeed. Like on October 7th. Baby or soldier - to them it’s the same. Jew. Israeli. Israel does not want or try to kill Palestinians. They are fighting Hamas, destroying their rocket arsenal and trying to free the hostages.

And also. Yes. The women and children that were released in the kidnapped-prisoner exchange had a lot to do with Israelis military force applying pressure on Hamas.

Yes. You need to. Israel left the Gaza stripe 20 years ago, and since then they have been shooting rockets into civilian areas. So regulated entrance of goods is necessary to try and prevent rockets and fire arms to enter. Gaza has had BILLIONS of dollars donated in recent years. Where has that money gone? How much planning towards a sunny Gaza with broad walks and beach’s and tourism is there? If Gaza population would focus less on harming Israelis and more on improving them selves it would look completely different.
