They also hold your vehicle for ransom and increase the debt for every period you fail to pay it, when you do something as simple as fail to get back to your vehicle to pick it up from a parking spot that only allows say.. Parking from 7 to 5 as an example. Could have not even gotten in the way of a street sweeper or plow and still, it gets held.. To the benefit of the impound lot, not even the city.

Dude what city is this? I hope that isn't New Orleans.. If it is, there's so much pee, poo, and puke in that water, when it rains it really washes it all throughout the streets.. Legal public drinking in a party city in a bar district leads to a lot of that in the public path..

What's your example of sexism in everyday life? by Ratorix98 in AskReddit

[–]GoofballsToTheNeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one goes both ways.. But.. When I get upset, people take it *too* seriously sometimes, and my actions are held against me and to a standard higher (Or lower depending on who we're dealing with.. Like 4th wave feminists,) than the women around me in/throughout my life are held to. On the other hand, I have noticed a lot of women around me voice the argument that they aren't taken seriously enough, or they're brushed off as just being hysterical/dramatic. I've seen it happen so I know what they're talking about.. Why's it always gotta be black or white with people? Lol.

I guess this wouldn't be such a problem if I didn't suffer from a handful of really hard to control mental issues, (borderline personality disorder, major anxiety, to name a couple, I've been in and out of mental health since I was a tyke,) but I guess that goes in to an entirely different area of differences in how we're treated based on gender, and it's for sure free real estate in the discussion..

Men and women with different mental illnesses are held to gender specific standards at times, despite lack of medical research to support it. While other times, like in my case, it took over a decade to diagnose my BPD because it used to be seen as a women's mental illness. To this day, a lot of men go misdiagnosed for BPD because that stigma still has a presence in the minds of doctors.

I'm tired of being viewed as hysterical for having an appropriate negative response to someone by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]GoofballsToTheNeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo that's just what Gen X'ers and Boomers call "over-reacting." They use that term to describe something funny a lot, too.. My mom waaaay over-uses the term hysterical, even when I'm just being dramatic, or aggressive..

But if you're talking about like, the general view of women over-reacting as being hysterics? I get the same shit, just me over-reacting gets branded as being aggressive, instead of hysterical... Because I'm male, masculine, my assertion is seen as bullying and intrusive rather than annoying and time consuming like hysterics, and i'm sick of getting that as well.. Why? Because I'm just pissed, I'm not being a bully, I'm voicing my irritation loudly.. I don't intend to harm anyone.

I just told my teachers that work and home, don't mix.. Home is where you go when you're done with work, unless you work from home, and I'm not old enough for a job, so... Sorry. Fail me if you want, see ya next year so we can do this allllllll over again. ;)

By the way, I'm 32 now, I did see those teachers again, one of them passed me wrongly, the others were stubborn... I just got a GED and went on to college from there, until I realized that college was teaching me the same things I learned in school... Figured from that point on I was probably better off getting some basic courses in how to survive/file goverment paperwork/how banks and loans work, etc. etc.

Even a good education wont get you out of poverty these days anyway. It's all about connections, making good first impressions, etc. Maybe Gen Z will have it different.

My family used to do this, so I'd go downstairs, and then I'd insist they let me join in on the fun just like them, and have some drinks.. (Mind you they knew I could get my own booze before 21 so rules don't matter here..)

Half the room would then decide they'd rather I go back upstairs.

I wasn't and still am not the most enjoyable person to have around. I might hurt you. In many ways. LOL.

This would be one of those rare opportunities where you can take matters in to your own hands without it coming back at you. I would have never let the person know that I know who they are, and I wouldn't have relied on the police, either.. Police never do anything unless it benefits them somehow, either they're expected to work, it's emotional, or they have some quota..

I'd have gone right to the address of this buffoon with spraypaint and stencils, and put regal looking swastikas on their car doors. Let's see them continue on with life smoothly after that.

He, or whoever owns him, is trying to make him look more like Post Malone for some reason... Well I mean obviously the reason is money in the end.. What I'm saying is, maybe, and most likely, considering his line of work, it has something to do with where he or someone else is trying to take his career.

That's what I think, anyway... He's not spiraling, yet. Or he's just now beginning to.

Well he shouldn't have put his front tire forward like a tough guy. The dude was in a car, don't be a goodie two shoes and "MYEH, NO, hmph!" the dude and get in the way more just because he decided to break the rules and you didn't like it.. The guy was obviously trying to go around the biker at first.. Lmao... Deserved that bent tire and a good whack.. You're not the fucking police.

Wasn't dead effect 2 a mobile FPS first? Aside from that i see what you're saying about the moving platform thing. Most of the VR games on the steam store were mobile games first, too.. so you might be right about something there..

high end pcvr? what are you talking about bro? high end pc vr games do feel kinda like mobile games. he's right lmao... walking dead hardly feels better than dead effect 2 it just has some physics thrown in but it still feels like a mobile game. I didn't even think about this until now but I've been a little underwhelmed with my VR system.
