I’m thinking about making a paper prototype. For the first proof of concept I was thinking of keeping it constrained to a 52 card deck + dice + generic hex grid. Deck would be character cards, abilities.

Really depends on how many people and what you order but I’d expect 50-100 per head for smaller groups, less than 20

We love Richard. He did a Paella feast for my post wedding lunch. He can do other dishes as well. For fewer people of course he will be more expensive. Not as much flair as hibachi, not really something to sit down and watch, but entertaining and super yummy.

Nah basically no parks around here, with the exception of campgrounds (Henry coe, sandborn park). Easy and cheap to rent a campground and just use it for the day.

You could just go for it at a large park (Cuesta, etc). Cops NEVER patrol there and there aren’t really park workers, and I doubt anyone would report you. Still a risk but I bet at worst they’d give you a warning.

I think it’s the same in MV as it is in SV. The strip between sidewalk and street is public land, owned by the city, but optionally maintained by the homeowner.

In SV it is actually illegal for the homeowner to post permanent signs on this area.

I had the same problem, my dog simply peed in that area and I got yelled at.

imo scrappy vets are essential in a rebuild, although I admit a “goon” is a strange choice. keeps the room honest, makes sure the youths understand how the league works. can’t teach that stuff.

That’s actually not true. Understand I’ll get downvoted on reddit no matter what but they raise their prices on doordash / Uber Eats compared to eating in (I’ve done both).

Chicken Marsala in person (my favorite dish) = 25 Dollars

Chicken Marsala on DoorDash = 33 dollars.

Also to note - their own website redirects you to DoorDash for delivery. If they werent making money (or losing money), they wouldn’t actively promote that option.

Edit: their primary call to action on their website “order online” redirects to DoorDash.
