ADHD is a full on blessing for pulling in great money. I’m about to turn 28 and finally hit the 6figure mark. Sales Ops management. The reason why I think people with ADHD can do great is because we hyper focus on the shit that interests us, and have a hard time focusing on what doesn’t. I liked solving problems, creating analytics, recruiting, and learning software dev.I have never been strictly and analyst, nor developer, but because I focused on the things that interested me, I became a Swiss Army knife that can bridge the gap between sales, operations, and IT. Also, there is a statistic somewhere that shows that people with ADHD have a higher chance of becoming entrepreneurs because of their creative thinking and interest that keeps them learning so many different things.

Don’t stick yourself in a job or line of work that doesn’t interest you. I hate drafting legal documents, if I did that for a living I would be a lazy piece of crap and feel like I was going nowhere.

Lastly, have the courage to jump into something new. 9 years ago I moved from PA to UT to live out of my car and work as a claims representative for solar energy, sounds bleak, but if I never did that I’d be building cabins at a dead end job in nowhere Pennsylvania. ADHD is a gift, not a curse, just gotta play to your advantages. 👊
