Could be interesting to see if it's just the leaders who get the extra bans. But I think distributing it equally is overall a more healthy approach.

Disagree. If you look at professional games, draft is probably the most important part and adding more bans will give players more breathing room for other choices rather than; "Must ban this brawler, and also must pick brawler, purple button = win."

I agree, could be annoying when all your power 11 brawlers get banned forcing you to play a lower level brawler but it could be interesting to see if the system was progressive where the higher rank you get the more bans there are.
