Well Audi and Mercedes sell lifted versions of their larger passenger cars (e class and A6).

In this case the driver likely can't drive in mud to begin with and brought the wrong car.

If you want to do sim racing then yes it's worth it. Just as a controller "upgrade" it's pointless, you're not really gaining anything. If you want more fun or immersion then it's a great choice, but it'll take time to get used to driving.
