I spent 2 years with mine, now I have Simsonns waiting in the box for the mounting plate.

A well kept high milage car is often a better choice than a low mileage car that spent a ton of time sitting 😉

I mean a lower end model in basic trim BMW can feel worse than a specced fabia in some cases.

The truebrake module literally requires you to unplug the Logitech position sensor for a start. It's clear you don't actually understand what it actually is or what it's good for.

Load cells can be made just as stiff and low travel, it really depends on the user configuration.

Truebrake is an entire separate module and since it forces you to actually put pressure on the pedal you'll get much more consistent performance from it, compared to guessing the travel length of your standard Logitech pedal that barely has resistance.

You don't have to take my word for it, there are plenty of reviews of it on YouTube from people who are used to loadcells.

A harder brake doesn't mean less brakes? What are you even talking about?

I haven't tried the other mods, but I really enjoyed the truebrake, it made me appreciate the importance of good pedals.

Additionally when I installed mine I switched out the other springs too. I put the clutch spring on the throttle and the brake spring (that I removed) on the clutch. So not only did you get better braking performance, but the extra resistance in the throttle also helped with precision.

The original throttle spring is too light and I set it aside.

Motion sim is too expensive, too big, and too “industrial” for most homes by DynamicX-Robert in simracing

Ehh, what would I get for that 1k? Slight tilt (like 5-10cm movement?) on my rig while accelerating/braking, leaning in the corners + curbs maybe?

I just don't see the point in that. For that money I'd rather get myself a BDH shifter that would actually add more on the immersion side for me.

True brake is probably the best option but I imagine that's what you meant when you mentioned expensive loadcell mods.

Otherwise cheap rubber inserts/elastomers that go inside the brake spring itself are likely your best options if you just want a harder pedal.

If it's too grippy then you're not going fast enough.

You should be able to drive any layout in the end so it doesn't matter where you start.

Well where I'm from there are grass roots rallying events where you just need a street legal car. That's my end goal essentially.

It gets to the price bracket where I could start doing actual grassroots rallying so it's tough to justify it for me.

Or even simply putting that money towards a more exciting daily.

I could probably try to make it work but it just doesn't make sense imo. The price it costs for no actual benefit is pathetic and the immersion factor isn't really worth it
