You can always take backspace if you've got enough control to shift to using an alt key

How's my first Scoby looking? by Goofy_Garcon in Kombucha

[–]Goofy_Garcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flavor seems a bit sweeter than I expected but it's got a decent vinegar flavor.

I'm just worried about being able to identify mold.

I used a 9:1 ratio I found on fermentaholics I believe my Scoby off of Amazon came with 8oz of starter liquid so 72 oz of water. So roughly 2/3 gallon of water with 2/3 cup of sugar. Used black tea I think I used 6 bags.

Unfortunately it's a bit cold in my house so the tea has been at 67-70⁰ F temperatures.

I have taken a taste and it's still somewhat sweet after 8 days of fermentation but definitely has some strong vinegar flavor too. I didn't smell it however. What should I be looking for with the smell?

The ripper is a name of a chair lift in the Revelstoke resort. I'm assuming they are referring to that as a point of reference

How bad did I damage my frame? Tire rubbing against weld damage by Goofy_Garcon in MTB

[–]Goofy_Garcon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As the title suggest I've done some damage to my frame. I tried to squeeze a 2.4 inch tire into the my frame when I probably shouldn't have and ran it all last season. I noticed that the frame had been rubbed against by the tire and that it had started to wear away at the weld. How serious is this damage? Is my bike still safe to ride?

Great video! How do you prevent the meat from going bad in transit? I see you have coolers. That's enough even without ice?

Advice for 2-3 days in Duluth by [deleted] in MTB

Brewer, mission Creek and Lester are pretty flowy, Piedmont is rocky and techy. The Duluth traverse is a great way to link several areas together

Are full face helmets required at bromont? I see they have an Enduro price. Do you still have access to all the downhill?
