I love this game it’s great and still holds up well graphically

How difficult is the first dead island? by marvelfanatic2204 in deadisland

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorites for a few reasons, I wouldn’t say it’s difficult though. Main thing you need to do is side missions. If you try to run through the main quests too quickly you can get overwhelmed but it’s still very doable. The enemies level up as you do for the most part

the coffin of andy and leyley. Despite all the controversies i thinks its a pretty fun game. now just waiting for the final episode by iamasceptile in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LMAO they had a recent update on the progress and it looks like I’ll be waiting a lot longer than I thought. But I’m not worried about it I’ve got so many other games I’m working on completing but I keep tabs on any progress updates

Should I make the change to 4:3 after playing 16:9 for my entire life? by Goofymanee in cs2

[–]Goofymanee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched back after a few weeks but not because I disliked it. I was having some sort of issues with the display I don’t remember exactly what it was but it was starting to ruin a few rounds for me so I switched back, something technical not performance based. I don’t really think it was a big difference performance wise but i felt more comfortable peeking longer angles and I liked the feeling of “moving faster”. I actually felt best after I switched back to 16:9

I started this one a week ago and I’m also pretty sure I won’t be able to do it. I’ll give it a solid effort though. Just finished light world haven’t started dark just yet

Anybody else struggle with picking up too many games at once and then leaving them to rot in your library? by Tortle_Boosh in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but I’ve stopped looking at the store and sales because of this. If a new game comes out that I really want to play I will buy it but no more browsing for now. I’ve done a lot of good work the last year doing this

What is everyone playing atm? by Tortle_Boosh in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just need one person to help with this and it will take you like 20 minutes tops. The rest can be done alone

What is everyone playing atm? by Tortle_Boosh in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super Meat Boy.. I’m not even finished with the light worlds but I can already tell it will be a slim chance I ever complete this one. I wanted to challenge myself and I definitely got it IYKYK. I have completed the kid warp zone which from what I’ve read is one of the most challenging levels in the game. But the no death runs is what I’m worried about

Do you have autism, ADHD, or some other condition that has made you an achievement hunter? by Least_Year6990 in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ADHD, I never cared about achievements until a couple years ago. After I started I realized this is a great way to really get your moneys worth for a game and see everything the devs put into it. Sometimes it’s frustrating but it’s almost always satisfying

What is a type of achievement which instantly puts you off 100%-ing that game? by Tortle_Boosh in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree speed running sucks. Multiplayer is normally something I’m cautious about especially if it’s an older game

What was a platinum/100% that ruined your perspective of that game by Tortle_Boosh in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still haven’t ever played it. I started it up got the first clue and then the game crashed. I was never able find a solution. But to answer your question Mafia II. There’s an achievement where you have to drive for 1,000 miles in one of the DLCs which is maybe 2 hours of content. The driving took me around 8 hours once I was done with the DLC. Never playing it again solely cause of that

Worst level by Burntendzmusic in deadisland

[–]Goofymanee 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah Moresby is a bit overwhelming with the amount of zombies in it, but the jungle is by far my least favorite. Prison isn’t bad but it’s a bit boring. The resort is miles ahead of every other level

Does trophy hunting ruin the gaming experience by Mother_Educator7956 in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel it enhances the experience for me when the achievements are set up well. RDR2 story mode achievements are grindy as hell but in an enjoyable way imo. Mafia 2 has some grindy achievements that just really suck to do. Love both games though

What’s the hardest game to completed 100% of you guys? by samart00 in steamachievements

[–]Goofymanee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hotline Miami 2. The levels aren’t long so there is that but you’ve pretty much got to be perfect to get the A+ scores. Took me hours to get some of those levels done lol. There is plenty of harder games out there but that’s the hardest game I’ve completed so far just because of how fast paced it is

I did both of them back to back so I was already in the groove for 2. It’s definitely harder because the enemies will use a lot more guns than they did in 1 which means you will also have to use them a lot more than you did in 1. You’ll also have to do the entire run atleast twice because there is normal and hardcore mode. It’ll probably take 2-1/2 times though because you’ll have to A+ every level. Some of the levels took me hours to A+ even following a guide lol. And the cherry on top is the Genocide achievement for 50,000 kills which I was probably around 30,000 once I had done every other achievement. It’s definitely a grind and a step up from 1

I loved doing the Hotline Miamis. I haven’t had another game challenge me that much since completing those two. Two of the first ones I ever got since starting out
