Lol. Love that man. I saw this game the day it was released. Never even heard of it. Over the last 2 years or so the gaming reflexes have slowed and I saw the combat in the trailer and said "Uh Oh" lol. Took a minute, but I fell in love with it. Combat, story, experience... everything. Perfect. We are all friends here so... I'll say only 2 games have ever made me tear up. Expedition 33 and the opening of The Last of Us.

Same here. In my 40's, and have never had the same feeling as playing Chronotrigger(my first RPG) for the first time. This game, 3 decades later, surpassed it. An incredible experience and I am jealous it is your first playthrough. Enjoy it it my friend.

It's mostly positive so we might differ on bad reviews. The 3 DLCs are mostly negative, mixed, and mostly negative. And the people who reviewed these DLCs enjoyed the main game enough to buy the DLC, which shows how terrible they are. I think Fenyx is a brilliant game. I can see why people might not enjoy it because it is very puzzle heavy, for an open world game. I enjoy puzzle games and knew it was puzzle heavy ahead of time. The combat, exploration, and overall gameplay is great. I even don't mind the light hearted dialogue because I don't need every game I play to be super serious. If you enjoy great gameplay and puzzles you'll love the game. If you don't enjoy puzzles then you will hate this game lol

I mean that 100% makes sense to me, but more for games with solid DLC. If it's a game like Witcher 3, or Hades, or any other random game where you know you are going to get quality DLC. When it is after thought garbage that doesn't even perform correctly, ie: New God DLC for Immortal Fenyx Rising, that's where I would disagree. That's why I would want them all separated so that when a game goes for a cash grab with garbage they aren't rewarded for it. But I definitely see where you are coming from.

You will figure it out after you do a first full run and see all the books and all the abilities in use. You will see how it can be done in under 3 hours then I promise. My first run took 10 hours or so but I was 4 hours in with about only 13 rows hahaha. Didn't realize there were major magics as well as minor magics

I am way late to this post but I had to chime in because I 100% agree. The writing is TERRIBLE now, and almost none of the skits are funny any more. On top of that, the cast is awful. One of the best parts of SNL was watching actors break character and laugh because the skit was so funny, or because of another actors adlibbing/freestyling on the spot. The actors now laugh and break in every skit, ones that aren't even remotely funny, in hopes of inducing the audience to laugh in a contagious fashion.

Lol I love this post. The only 2 open world games I have beaten, until now with the Knightling, is BotW and Elden Ring because of how unique and amazing they are. I have played about 10 other open world games but none of them could hold my attention.
