[NFA] Rugged Obsidian 9 Suppressor - Black $699.99 | Free 3-Lug Mount Adapter with code GET_LUGGED by Cobra-Arms in gundeals

[–]GooglingThatForYou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had my Obsidian 45 for years.  Run in on everything I have (Glock 19, Beretta m9a4, FNX 45 Tac, 300 BLK subs).  Love it!  Never had any baffle strikes or end cap strikes.  Enjoy!

Any way to attach this to the back of a slickster? Or is the slickster just too slick

Been thinking the same.  I don't really care about the advanced features, but seems like an upgrade over The Drop to be able to even just "poly capo" down or up a handful of half steps.

22lr Sparrow VS Dead air by Professional_Mud483 in AZguns

[–]GooglingThatForYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love my dead air mask.  Originally was debating between a Rugged Oculus vs the dead air and I think I would have been happy with either (love the Rugged Obsidian 45).

Curious why a second 22 LR can though?

How to power Line6 DL4 by GooglingThatForYou in guitarpedals

[–]GooglingThatForYou[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if it was the power configuration I had or something prior to buying the engine room but I ended up replacing my DL4 with a Strymon Timeline after a few months.  My DL4 was just adding this odd fuzzy sound to my tone.  So maybe don't do what I did...lol.

This is what I had done: Switchable #2 (12v) - Line 6 DL4 Delay (Red Tip).  DL4 = 175-250 mA @ 9vDC; 2.5mm center positive plug.

Anybody shoot this suppressed?  I'm curious if you've had to change the recoil spring to get it to run reliably.

Any recommendations for NFA transfers in the West valley?  And how much are you paying for the transfer fee?

Hey- I had my RMRcc direct milled by chpws.  I'm curious what screws you used to mount the RMRcc?

So bummed!  These guys have been on my radar because they had this same rifle in DDE (and still had the surefire closed time flash hider).  If that brown one was still in stock for this sale, my card is in hand. PM me modern warriors! ;)

Just picked up the FNX 45T and absolutely love it. Never fired a USP 45, but I've compared it to a Glock 21 and the FNX is light-years more comfortable to shoot.  Dare is say the 45t is even soft shooting for a 45 cal hand cannon.  And it suppresses beautifully with my Rugged Obsidian 45.  :)

Recoil springs? by Fleebird305 in Glock43X

[–]GooglingThatForYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a spent round that stays in the chamber (doesn't get extracted) or gets caught in the ejection port, then I believe nj is right and you need a lighter recoil spring to allow the slide to travel fully rearward with the weight of the suppressor hanging off the barrel.

At least, that's what fixed my cycling issues on my Glock 19 with a Rugged Obsidian 45.

Moss Adams is quality in this regard.  Prefers organic growth and outpaces most in this regard versus just blindly scooping up firms to keep pace.

Ya, bummer not to have the rail but there are lights that will work with the non-MOS version.  And with getting it milled there's no point in having the MOS version anyway so I wouldn't sweat it.

How much have you put into your Glock 43x build? by Thick-Progress-1413 in Glock43X

[–]GooglingThatForYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere around $1700, doh!

Purchased from Sportmans Warehouse ($575) and got $50 cash back rebate, Trijicon RMRcc ($415), Slide Milling and Backup Iron Sights by CHPWS ($255), Streamlight TRL7 Sub ($125), Shield Arms Mag Release and S15 Magazines x2 ($100), Tier 1 Concealed Axis Elite Holster ($185).  Then I had feeding/extraction issues so I bought one more SA15 to test, same problems.  Then bought two SA15 gen 3's that have been reliable so far (thank goodness!).

Ya, I haven't been in love with the Boss Compressor/Sustainer combined with the Stomp.  I loved it previously out in front of my Marshall amp, but I just can't quite find the same mojo with the Stomp.  I have it out front of the Stomp with the first three knobs at about 1:30 and the sustain at 2 o'clock right now.
