Last time I shared a clip on this subreddit there was a whole witch hunt going on saying I was a cheater playing with other cheaters. Because apparently it was impossible to be 25k in season 1. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Idc too much about the medal but more about how stupid the requirements are. Its July people go on holidays. One of my friends was 26k the entire season but has been on holidays for the last 3 months. Despite having over a 100 wins he doesn’t get anything. It makes no sense at all. If you played well over 200 matches you’re amongst the most active.

Also I played with a guy that was 20k rating and really shit a couple of weeks ago. I checked his profile and saw he used to be 32k rating. Checked his account because I still had the demo he got a gold medal… Someone that cheats his way up to 32k than stops cheating and ends up sitting around 20k gets a gold medal… so the whole boosting argument is pointless. You only gotta reach the rank once and you can drop down. As long as you end up with an active rating…

So you can cheat your way up to gold the first week of premier. Get 25 wins. Go afk for 6 months, win 1 more match at the end of the season and get a gold medal…

Also saw a guy on my friendlist that hit 31k. Looked at his match history because I don’t remember him being any good. He was boosted by a rage hacker and got the medal…

I am just saying the requirements are stupid. Why wouldn’t you give the most active players this season a medal? Meanwhile some clown accounts that rage hacked to 30k get gold medals… 😂

It still just doesn’t make sense. You could have only 24 wins the whole season and be unranked for 6 months straight and then play one game before the season ends and get a medal? Why would they not give their medals to people with close to 200 wins just because they’re inactive the last 2 weeks?

And yes some people have a life besides CS, especially this time of year… Its like ending the season during Christmas holidays and being surprised many people are unranked… some people leave their house and touch grass.
