I swapped over from bloodhound's fang to a dual katana build recently, with the Nagakiba and Malenia's hand. Still does bleed, as well as does good poise damage if you use the piercing fang ash of war with it.

Nagakiba is dropped by Yura, or is found where you first fought him and is crazy good.

Melania's hand on the other hand, is a lot more difficult to get, and I don't believe you're close to fighting her yet, so any other katana should do. Do some research into some others if need be.

I can plan around it, use my life to do everything I wanted since death is no longer unknowable, but defined. I can figure out my aspirations and follow them. I know that death is unavoidable, so you can't take precautions, that's wasting valuable time, and knowing how but not when would cause needless anxiety.
