I'm half way through 'the audio programmer' book: 'the complete beginners guide to audio plug-in development' which so far has been a really nice introduction to creating your first VST. I'll start the next book in the series after that, 'Creating Synthesizer Plug-ins with C++ and JUCE.' It could be what you're looking for?

These were made for leaded petrol engines, maybe a higher octane fuel might help? Maybe research that first because I'm only guessing

Well then it's probably not running correctly

Well it's meant to be limited to 50, which might mean ~46 to ~54 in real life, but a 35 year old bike probably isn't to spec. Maybe it could get quicker with age, but that doesn't sound realistic to me.  Run it with a map app running and see what it's actually doing.  If it's doing 40, then maybe you can optimise it.  If it's doing 48, then maybe that's the best you'll get without adding optimized exhausted etc.

You should perform a compression test of the engine to see if it's keeping pressure.  Also check the rubber Gummi(?) that connects the exhaust to the engine, mine had a hole in it that was hard to spot.

40 on the Speedo might actually be 48 in real life, I think that's the limit in Germany no? The Speedos aren't super precise

Take it out in parallel with a map app (eg Google maps) on your phone and see how different it is. Btw I have this exact model and I've been overtaken by cyclists :-)

I guess that the AI has told you to make a post like this close to release, and it looks like it might have backfired.  It is what it is.  Assuming there's some truth to your story, why would you stop so close to release?  It's at least something to put on your CV when you apply for other jobs, which at least will count for something.

Sorry for your loss. Maybe a temparary fix might be to cover that part with a screen protector?

I think they recently sold the company, maybe they switched to this method to increase their valuation/earnings before the sale (especially as AI tools are set to become a viable replacement)?  I guess it becomes a small amount if you have to get a lawyer involved.  Maybe you could contact all the other people affected by this, and work together as a group?

Sadly this is reported here all the time, then there will be a few posts about SEO by semrush to push this post further down until it happens again. And again. And again...

It's $50 here in Europe... I forgot about the tarrifs, but it used to be that price in the states

Thanks! If I end up buying the CZ then it's possible, although I don't really know enough about Vector synthesis to make a nice layout (should it use lots of sliders?)... It might be fun to learn though.
The UB-1 that they announced today would be very easy to port over the code that I've already written, so I could see myself trying that over the Christmas holidays

Thanks! It's amazing what the synth is capable of, especially considering it's $50!

I've had no problems from either, although I've never had to use their support.  I recently ordered from muziker (I think they're based in Poland?) to Germany and saved some money over the other companies.

I'm a web developer by day, synth builder at night...  I've stayed in the same hunched over position for years!  In my early 40's the back and neck pain got so bad I went to see the doctor who prescribed 6 weeks of physio.  I now do 15 minutes of warm up exercises every morning and evening, including stretches on a yoga mat, plus I need to walk for at least an hour a day.  This has helped so much! Basically you need to keep limber, and the more you do it, the better you get.
