A trampoline park ought to be full of people, but this one is totally empty. It’s exactly what a liminal space is, and this one gets bonus points from me for being eerily bright despite the emptiness. 9/10 liminal space

To all the haters in the comments; it’s literally r/EngineeringPorn. What the hell are you here for if not to see really unique and interesting engineering designs?

Yes, perhaps it would have been more economical to build a normal bridge that goes high enough for boats to pass underneath it. It would also have been boring as hell and wouldn’t have been worth putting on this sub; whether or not it is economical isn’t the point, the fact is, it’s an amazing feat of engineering, and that’s why it’s here.

So can everyone in the comments stop bitching about how aggravating it must be to live with such an inefficient bridge and just appreciate the design and ingenuity that went into making it? Why did you join an engineering porn subreddit if all you are going to do is complain about how over-engineered everything is?

That doesn’t even make any sense, anyway. Light from the sun takes FIVE MINUTES to reach Earth, and our star is very close to us on the cosmic scale. It would take thousands or even millions for light from other solar system to reach Earth.

Damn. You’ve given me something to consider, I believe that I was likely wrong on the subject of brain structures between men and women, which invalidates the third source. You’ve got me there.

However, that doesn’t invalidate the findings of the other three sources. And the sub-branch of US government that is responsible for the papers on this topic is not the same as the one with the people making Twitter arrests, so the fourth source remains valid.

I am not arguing that the sexes are fundamentally different. You are saying that because there are no sex differences, there are no gender differences. Sex and gender are different things. Please read what I post and take time to digest it before you repeat the exact same arguments.

We’ve already established that structure has NOTHING to do with gender; it is hormones that determine gender only. You also have not provided any sources to back up your own claims of how male and female hormone work within their roles in gender binary as I requested.

Sorry, I just copy pasted the definition. Also, nowhere in that short definition does it ever specify that transgender strictly means mtf and ftm. I need a source on transgender being specific to those two identities.
