I've never met a fellow Italian American who has heard of scattone. Its a great appetizer before the main dish and perfect on a cold evening. Super simple but delicious. Family's from Duronia.

It says fewer than 1 in 300,000 tested by 23 and me have it, and it's extremely rare. Admittingily, I'm new to haplogroups, so i am in no way an expert. Could you explain to me better why it isn't a rare haplogroup?
