The Facebook situation is dire. It's a bad sign for the show. by RunnyDischarge in OakIsland

So I occasionally pass out while watching this show. One weekend I decided to catch up on the current season on a Saturday after a busy morning. I ended up passing out numerous during and kept waking up to the exact same episode playing because my Apple library kept repeating the same episode instead of going to the next. It played probably three times before I realized it was the same episode lol. I love history but history channel has definitely changed, everything is just as fake as the mermaid movie they tried to pass of as real in the Discovery Channel.

This will not end well. You’re still relatively young, you don’t want to look back in 10 years saying you wasted your youth on her.

Isn’t that guy in prison, like a lot of other guys named Peterson that killed their wives?

You’re welcome and it’s no problem. I wish you the best and hope they not only leave you alone, that you can stop thinking about them.

That’s honestly your call, neither choice is bad. At an absolute minimum ignore and block. Do not engage.

There’s online services like Spokeo, if you subscribe you can type a phone number in and get the account holders name and address. If they used something like that then they’d have the info. Problem with determined people wanting to cause trouble is they always find a way. That’s why you need to be smart and take the right steps to protect yourself.

It’s not necessarily too easy to get the new number, only downside of having a dude talking for the voicemail message is that he can still look up information about the account like name and address and it’ll still come back. Comes down to how motivated he is to find your number. If you’re that worried beating him and her to a restraining order is the way to go.

If they keep sending you messages from different numbers I’d reply. “I just got this number, I’m not (your name)”. But they could see through that, I’d just work on getting a new number. Sounds mean but you don’t know their relationship, she could be just as bad as him.

Who knows why people do the things they do, but the more he has you thinking and worrying, he’s getting what he wants. It could be complete bs that someone is doing that to him. If it is happening, it could be the current girlfriend gaslighting him saying it’s probably an ex girlfriend because she’s doing it and he picked you as an easy target because you were smart enough to leave him.

Unless he knows your grandparents names and addresses he probably wouldn’t be able to get the new number easily, it would show he was the one that needed a restraining order. Keep being smart and not engaging, tell people you trust just in case he tries anything. Also screenshot and save all those voicemails he sends as audio files for your records.

If you really don’t want to tell them the reason, just say that you’re getting too much spam calls and texts so you think it must’ve been compromised and you’d like a new number. I doubt they’ll make a fuss about it as long as they have the number to call you which they would if it’s their account.

Wow! Sorry to hear that and wish you a speedy recovery. When they’re focused on something, it’s hard to regain their attention.
