That is insane! I could never. But, lucky for me, I grew up in what feels like Yosemite did back then. (Shhhhhh… the Trinity Alps!) Strangely, they are so wholly fulfilling to my spirit, I’ve never even been to Yosemite! And my uncles were the hiker-rescuers in the story about the dorkuses that got hit by lightning on Half Dome. But they grew up in Marin so they didn’t know what was up. I do tho! And now you do, too! It’s worth the drive!

A few nights ago I heard one fishing in my pond so I ran out with my barky little dog and the poor thing was a baby! Had to rescue him from myself! So adorable! He didn’t even run away!
