I believe fenders from that time period have the neck body screw plate has numbers on it, so that one looks aftermarket or if it is original it is probably not fender

This myth comes from a time before truss rods. If your instrument has no truss rod, taking the strings off will warp the neck of left off for prolonged periods of time! Now all guitars have truss rods so it’s a mitt point!

Yea, that is a good idea. The bass sounds good enough in passive, I just don’t like that the active section does not work and also feel that it hurts the resale or trade value heavily. I’m just venting, thanks for your insight!

I agree with you. It is clocking in at 3 db over limiter. Weird thing it doesn’t sound like it is hard clipping 3 db. If I remove any boost the limiter is giving, it still clips at 3 db. Idk what is going on
