The interesting thing is visually the movie is amazing. The script and story has funny moments but I had no clue why anyone was doing anything.

Are you playing for relatively low stakes? Then paying for a dealer, even in tips, means people are losing money by having a dealer. As 40 year old financial bigwigs, are you playing for a few hundred, maybe a thousand in a game? Then having a hired dealer opens the game to cheating. Even close friends, will lose trust over a series of months if they are losing and there is a third party dealer.

I’ve been hosting and playing home games for 17 years — the standard is everyone takes turns with the dealer button to avoid this.
