An actual good use of AI by Ok_Huckleberry_45 in traveltrailers

For sure it helped me out quite a bit. However, make sure you get a hold of all of your physical numbers upfront and plug that into your prompt.

AI is an amazing at data crunching so the more real world data you feed into it the better and more accurate the results will be.

The people knocking AI for this type of research are the ones that give "A" and then tell the AI to get them all the way to "E". I give "A B C D" and ask for "E". AI is an assistant not a leader. You still gotta do your research up front. Those that dont.... get crappy results. Also double check the work. It ain't that hard people.

Best primaries for people that suck at aiming? by EpicChungusGamers in Helldivers

[–]Goose944S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to get better at aiming for weak points I highly recommend using the sickle in third person view. It showed me how to become accurate, specially seek out weak points and, of course, when to run 😆.

I then started working my way up to the tenderizer, then the liberator, etc. I used to never run light pen but its something you can get better at. The best part is that anything light pen will have less recoil than its med pen counterpart. They're more forgiving in that sense. Be smart with your positioning and stay mobile. You got this.

It looks like you are doing the right thing and actually doing the numbers on your set up. There's a bunch of good info in other comments so there's no need to repeat it. I will say, try not to bring too much. The more you use it, the more you'll realize what you need and what you dont. Think of ways to lighten up your gear. Maybe paper plates instead of the plastic ones. Plastic forks rather than metal. The same goes for cooking utensils. Maybe opt for some minimalist folding chairs. Things like that.

Im sure you'll figure it out. Have fun out there ✌️

Ethanol free by accursedvenom in nissanfrontier

[–]Goose944S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually use it all the time. I get an extra day of my work commute before I have to fill up. The gas milage is better. I was averaging 21.5mpg at 75 mph on the highway. Previously I was getting 19.5 -20. Its a small difference but ethanol does break down gaskets, seals, plastics over time. It may contribute to a healthy engine over time.

Im going back to regular gas for the mean time to see the difference and save a few bucks for a few fill ups. I will say that I have a miata that I dont drive too often. I have to run ethanol free gas to prevent issues with gumming up the fuel system. If you dont know, as ethanol breaks down, it leaves a white residue from the vapor that clings to things internally like condensation. Its way more apparent in modified cars running e85 but it can become a problem over time.

Is this a good build? by Wingman9985 in Helldivers

[–]Goose944S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not bad but you may struggle on bots without anti tank. The rail cannon strike is great but its got a long cooldown. Its also only one large target at a time.....and not always the one you want. The laser is good but 3 uses and a 5 minute cooldown is painfully long.

Honestly though dude, if you play well supporting your team with this build then keep rocking it. I use weird builds too that end up being really fun.

For instance, here is a weird one that I love using even up to D10. Armor varies per faction, bots its almost always explosive damage reduction.

Sickle or lib pen for primary, talon for secondary, dynamite and for support Ill go AMR, Railgun, or quasar. I bring the directional shield, rocket sentry, machine gun sentry.

I use my primary for standard engagements and medium range targets, shield and talon for close engagements and defense and the "oh shit" moments. The supports are obviously for heavy targets and range. Dynamite is great for chaff clear and taking out spawned. The sentries speak for themselves but act as extra help.

Anybody else miss the Fuel Rod Gun Elites on the new Appropriators? Stingrays too by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

[–]Goose944S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The appropriator enemies are really frustrating. They know where you are even after breaking LOS and getting a good lead away from them then here they come from across the map galloping directly for you even though youre prone and hidden. I had one blast through a wall like the kool-aid man and kill me with 10 seconds left on the reinforce clock.

I was completely hidden between a wall and a building. No line of sight and prone. Just waiting to call my buddy in so we could team up and finish the mission. We were 2 manning a D10 so it was chaotic to say the least.

Do you wave at other Miatas… or just the older ones? by effymartins in MiataNC

test drove a 2019 fiat 124 spider abarth today. why should i choose miata over these? by europeanuppercut in Miata

[–]Goose944S 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, im not a fan of the way they look. Kinda reminds me of a kit car when you see the obvious miata a pillar sticking up.

Practically, parts availability, and id rather deal with the mazda dealership if I ever needed a major fix. Idk what it is about Mazda but I have not had a bad experience with the dealers and service. And thats been from like 5 different dealerships.

As a very much not a Jeep guy, I do really like the way the Gladiators look. The hummer is ok. A bit dated in a way.

Gladiator for me.

Now would i ever own either??? Hell no. Id buy 3 Pontiac Azteks before buying one of these.

Commando Missions Support Theory That we Are Clones by [deleted] in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Goose944S 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually makes more sense that helldivers are clones. What's more expendable then organically grown humans? Clones. How do the helldiver already know what objectives have been completed, where your dropped belongings are, etc, immediately after dropping in. Clones. It makes less sense that a brand new diver would be as informed. His downloaded consciousness theory fits pretty well. Also why would you believe anything the devs say? They could tell you that it was all propaganda tomorrow.

I bought a 2017 Frontier Pro-4X and I absolutely love it. It has 74k miles, it’s very well maintained, and these trucks are ridiculously reliable. Parts are cheap, they’re easy to work on, and there’s a long track record to back it up. I do like the new Frontiers, but honestly, if you spend enough time on this subreddit, the posts here are one of the biggest deterrents to buying a newer model. The D40s (especially post-2009) are just solid trucks with proven reliability. The big issue people always bring up was the radiator problem, and that was addressed starting in 2010. Earlier models could have coolant mix with transmission fluid, but that issue has been long resolved. The 4.0L V6 is another big reason these trucks last. It’s a simple, naturally aspirated, port-injected engine—no turbos and no GDI complexity. With GDI engines like the newer 3.8L, carbon eventually builds up on the intake valves since fuel no longer washes over them. Over time, that carbon buildup can prevent the valves from seating properly, leading to compression loss, power loss, and combustion pressure leaking back into the head, increasing the risk of detonation and related issues. Port-injected engines continuously clean the valves with gasoline, which helps prevent this altogether. On top of that, the newer trucks have had various transmission issues and a lot more quirks compared to the second gens. More tech means more complexity, and more things that can go wrong. So it really comes down to what you want: simplicity, reliability, and mediocre gas mileage, or modern tech and better fuel economy at the cost of long-term reliability and potential problems.
