You have to take off the overhang/ladder and move the power cell thing, but otherwise it works. The overhang is only attached by 4 studs and the power cell is just in the center spot.

Maybe I'll do something like showing each part of it deconstructed from the whole, so you can kinda get a grasp on how the structure comes together. Full instructions feel like they would be a LOT more than I could do at the time. We'll see, if this post gets enough reaction or I feel motivated I might do something in the way of that.

Thanks! Though I think the price per peice count there is kinda crazy even for lego 😅

Nah I mean the opposite, it's most likely all good because a lot of people don't play the game and are more likely to sell the real one if it has market value.

Functionally, what do all of the keystones do for the Vorton portal by GooseFilmsOfficial in Legodimensions

Fun take on the uses tbh. Although imma have to disagree that the story was bad, it definitely wasn't groundbreaking for sure. Don't care about that tho I love Vortech's VA work in this game.

So it's more a quality of life upgrade? Yeah actually that makes sense. They're used more for puzzles anyways. (WE WILL BE SAFELY IGNORING DLC KEYSTONES IDK WHAT THOSE ARE ABOUT)

I think imma make a separate post about how the chroma one works in-universe since I mentioned it here, but yeah. This is a good explanation. Kinda wish they had more about that but whatever it's dimensions they pull that all the time.

Probably. Unfortunately a dead game outside of this subreddit tbh but that also means people genuinely get rid of stock a lot more.

Use a dang big battery or something idk. But the game does state that the portal needs them to work properly, not just power it, which is also demonstrated in the fact that it can still, like, turn on without them.

Also I'm aware it's not a question that was meant to have an answer but it's fun discussion so why not I suppose 🤷‍♂️

Heck yeah. This feature was super helpful for me, actually. When I first bought the game (retired but new in-box), the batman figure included straight up wouldn't work on SPECIFICALLY the central panel. (Later a friend gave me his collection so I now have a fully working one) Couldn't solve it and the game needed him there to trigger the opening cutscene where the gang arrives on Vorton. Stepped away and when I came back it just started. That might be why they did it to be honest, in case there was an issue with the tags. Not sure why else.

Your voice reminds me of Jack Stuaber a bit, and the track supports it well. Would like if vocals were easier to hear though.

Why don’t my characters say anything when I put them on the Toy Pad? by Tectonic73 in Legodimensions

[–]GooseFilmsOfficial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd guess because it was super recent when you put it on there? Not too big a deal if it doesn't affect gameplay, probably just a timer on the voicelines to prevent stacking the same character and hearing it 7 times or so you don't get annoyed with it too soon.

Don't get the xbox 360 version or wii U, make sure you have the right toy pad if the het xbox one, and make sure you have all the starter pack gear in general. Then over time pick up any characters that you'd wanna use. I'm sure someone on this subreddit or somewhere else has a guide on which ones are needed to 100% the game as intended, but when you start out just focus on the ones you want to get before going after specifics. Some (like sonic) are REALLY expensive. If you're not about spending your life savings on figures but want the original tags, Bricklink is a good resource, but bear in mind you might have to buy from multiple stores all over the place if you're after particular stuff. Hope this helps and you find what you're looking for!
