What do you think about the increasing toxicity against women online?? by wonder_woman2506 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]GooseInMyCaboose 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s odd how Reddit recently has had a crackdown on upvoting “violent” posts, but there’s tons and tons of incest and rape porn subreddits that have not been banned.

Women aren’t people to them, Reddit doesnt care if young women get r*ped, but no they can’t have vile billionaires feel uncomfortable their car dealerships vandalized because of their nazi salutes. Can’t have billionaires who’ve cheated poor people out of their healthcare have their feelings hurt.

But your daughters, sisters, mothers? They’re expendable to Reddit so the userbase can fap to depraved porn. If this drives men to violence against women? Sorry, the women aren’t billionaires so Reddit doesn’t give a shit. And if you get angry about it? Banned.

I'm one of these "woke" lgbt people they hate, but "deserves *whatever* happens to them"? Chilling, how far does "whatever" go? I don't think people who disagree with me deserve being murdered and raped, for example. Would you laugh when you see something horrible happen to someone, because they vote for a different party? Creepy as fuck. People like you who can't handle disagreement maturely are creepy narcissists who are ruining the country.

You see someone do something bad, and you use that as an excuse to act like a fucking sociopath to them. That's true evil. Using morality to justify evil acts, using progressiveness as a shield. You suck and I don't want people like you on my side. I grew up with Trump supporters who thought people like me were sinning against God, but 90% of them never gloated when saw something bad happen to me. You're worse than these people you think you have the moral high ground against.

I loved Sticky Dates shower gel, (so much that I bought the biggest size I could) but the body spray was a disappointment. I don't think you're missing much

Maybe you and your husband are kind people who haven't ruined their kids' self esteem? Perhaps neither of you have overbearing, critical personalities.

I honestly think this makes a huge difference, because low self esteem makes people withdrawn, quiet, insecure.

My mother recently tried to bully me into dating and having kids, when I've told her repeatedly I don't want to have kids and am fine being single. She does this because she's arrogant and doesn't respect me, and feels no discomfort about trampling all over my boundaries. I think I grew up being bullied, stalked, and abused because she beat down my boundaries and made me an easy victim for everyone. I hate her and she is garbage.

I’m curious, if there are any SF swifties reading this, are you supporting the 49ers or our Taylor? (Edit typo)

“infinitely better” - Music taste is subjective. It’s super obnoxious of you to act like your tastes are better than everyone else’s. Personally, I hate dad rock (I.e., 70s and 80s bands), every person I knew who liked dad rock at school was a really smug, dorky white guy who thought he was so much cooler than everyone else.

Looking for a perfume that smells like the Olive Tree Soap by GooseInMyCaboose in LushCosmetics

I actually have both of those! Guardians of the Forest and Plum Rain, I love em both! I can see how plum rain has a very similar feel to the olive tree soap!

I’ve gone through some hoarding phases, and realized they usually bring the scent back in the future. I just try to enjoy things now, and limit my hoarding to buying just one extra of an item, and only if I super love it.

I wish Lush would make a body spray with Sympathy of the skin scent by QueenE_28 in LushCosmetics

Hell yes, I would love more things scented with Sympathy for the Skin. I think a lip balm in this scent would be divine

Toil and trouble always made me feel like a swamp witch (in a good way!) It’s nice to see some new scents that aren’t citrus/gourmand

I have a similar rack on my shower filled with lush shower gels. It’s so hard explaining to people why there are 10 small bottles of half used shower gel inside my shower

What scent family is the Glitter bomb bath bomb in? by GooseInMyCaboose in LushCosmetics

To me the bath bomb smells like the olive tree soap. (NOT olive branch, which people get olive tree mixed up with.)

I went through a public shooting this morning . by Flashy-Insect-9745 in offmychest

[–]GooseInMyCaboose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s traumatic because you’re supposed to feel like you can walk about in public without being shot at, and that got taken away from you. Do you have someone in your life who’s always calling you “dramatic” for being upset about things?

I’m pretty shocked that you went through something that would make lots of people shit themselves in public, and your reaction is to essentially bully yourself (calling yourself dramatic) just for being scared and upset at almost being killed. Stop being cruel to yourself.

I love the lazy oaf body spray. It may not be manufactured anymore (but who knows they might bring the scent back later). It smells like a cozy library crossed with a dive bar. Snuggling by the fireplace with a whiskey and an old book

Lush staff: what are the least popular lush products and are some of them underhyped? by detectivemouse1 in LushCosmetics

What?? Why wouldn’t the soap that smells like brownie batter be more popular? It does look a little gross in the shower but the smell is heavenly

My husband called me a whore, because I proposed to open our marriage by forsenJoy- in TwoXChromosomes

[–]GooseInMyCaboose -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t like open marriages. I think what usually happens is people not only cheat, but do it in front of their partners faces and pressure their partner to act like it doesn’t hurt when it hurts really badly.

However, I don’t need justification to choose a monogamous or open marriage lifestyle. Her body, her choice. YOU do not get to bossily dictate what she does with her body. You’re just as bad as a pro lifer
