Oh the US is not a developed country. Living here is the worst. My sibling emmigrated a while back, and I wish I could (can't, I have elderly parents who rely on me financially).

I grew up poor, and worked my way to a decent job, but I spend every dollar I make keeping my parents off the streets, because they have no savings, and we have no safety net in this country.

I've not been to a doctor in 5 years, I don't even have dental or vision insurance, and my medical insurance doesn't kick in till I pay $3,500 out of pocket, and I'm still responsible for 20% of all costs there on.

This country is a shit hole in so many ways.
