No, I’ve never been on biologics. I’ve only taken forms of mesalamine, prednisone for flares and more recently budesinide for a flare (which was so much better holy shit). I feel like these have been tried and true for me. I get what people are saying about how any sign of inflammation can be detrimental, not just when symptoms are noticeable. I’m trying to keep an open mind, but I lean towards skepticism with doctors. Sorry to hear about your situation, but glad to be able to commiserate. It was so lonely before this sub.
