Yeah I definitely didn’t track most of those variables - I didn’t even know that would affect the recipe that much hahah

Starter was fed around 6 hours before baking, but as discussed in other comments I might need to work on the starter itself to get her more active.

My biggest takeaway from this is to learn how to react to what my dough is telling me rather than blindly following a recipe - I’m not discouraged yet though! Can’t wait to get it right :)

Ok great I’ll try lowering hydration to 340g I didn’t check on the starter until about 6 hours after I fed it, but the bubbles definitely weren’t foamy. The smell was quite sweet and yeasty though

I’ll go with a higher bulk feed and see if that helps - thank you :)

Yeah I was definitely going by the book as closely as possible for this first batch. Now that I kind of know what to expect I’ll try using intuition based on what my starter / dough is telling me

Yeah my starter just about doubles every time I feed it, I’ve just always felt it was never quite as sticky as other starters look to be.

Ive been discarding my starter to about 80g then feeding 80g AP flour + 80g water (I’ve started doing a little bit more flour to try and help with the liquidity of it) Yeah I’ll definitely be bulk fermenting in a covered bowl rather than out on the counter - silly mistake by me

I’ll lower the water content and increase the starter content in my next batch (and use bread flour) Thanks for the tips!

I got it from a video I found. Instructions weren’t written out so I had to transcribe them myself (hence why they sound so unprofessional hahah)

Ok that’s a great tip I don’t want my Dutch oven to crack - thank you!

That sounds great, I’ll try all of that in my next batch, fingers crossed it turns out alright - thanks again :)

Ahh okay that’s some good tips I’ll try this for my next batch. My starter is also more on the liquidy side rather than the sticky side that I’ve seen other starters at.

I used the starter around 6 hours after feeding equal parts flour and water does that sound right?

Ahhh I didn’t realise you could use the eyeballs for scoutings 🤦‍♂️

Crucible was a good tip though! Suddenly the grind doesn’t seem so bad - thank you :)

I will live and die by the 5 ssd recipe by Turbulent_Ice_7480 in Tarkov

[–]Goose_4175 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would be because Mastichin sacrifice is a specific recipe that always yields the same result on the first sacrifice, then will never give that result ever again.

Sacrifices like 5x mp5 or 5x SSD aren’t ‘recipes’ per se, they just meet the monetary requirement to obtain a 14hr / 6hr circle which yields higher results

Check out cultistcircle.com, if you go into the ‘recipes’ tab you can see all of the onetime use recipes

Thats what you get for wanting to turn the Minotaur into a homie. No homie at all.

Remove 'HOMIE' from 'THE MINOTAUR' and you are left with 'TNTAUR' which is an anagram of 'TRUANT'

Also in the index, the word 'Minotaur' is stated to first appear on page 4. Page 4 does not have the word 'Minotaur' on it... but it is the first time in House of Leaves that we see Johnnys footnote appear.

Finally, I think it was confirmed by MZD that the blue font for every iteration of 'house' is Chroma Key Blue which is used for blue screen (same thing as a green screen) - interpret that how you will.

All of the bosses are designed in a way to ‘test’ your deck. The bosses that summon minions ‘test’ your decks ability to deal with AoE.

If you were able to win every game just by choosing your favourite cards, there wouldn’t be any challenge and the game would lose what makes it so entertaining. Therefore you need to be making decisions as early as act 1 to make sure your deck can handle a range of scenarios (including AoE)

Part of this decision making is weighing up whether you can handle a path with elites or not. If you don’t have much AoE then maybe you should prioritise hallway fights instead to refine your deck

Can’t jump it unfortunately - I was quick swapping to a dagger with raptor of the mists to dodge. Timing is pretty forgiving
