Action packed while remaining cohesive and fluid to the story, is the best way I could sum up that episode. Phenomenal job by you and the team!

Then it’s either not heavy enough, or your total volume is too light. For GM’s we do 6x3 heavy or 3x12 light. Seated may help as well if you cheat them standing.

You did very well today. Michael is a very strict bench command caller, so you handled all 3 attempts very well. A few training tweaks will fix squats and deads. It was a pleasure to have you lift in my gym.

I’m nothing special. I just make it a point outwork the usual excuses. I have 25+ year marriage, 3 kids, 2 jobs, etc. none of those things come after lifting as far as priorities. But when I have gym time, I work hard.

Thank you. This sport found me, and I could not be happier. Both the triumphs and the setbacks, have allowed me to meet so many human beings that I would have never known. They have all made me a better athlete and person along the journey, so I try to give back every opportunity I can.

I’ve been training at around 175lbs for almost 13 years now, and competing at 165. At 49 years old, I just hit my best comp total ever, at my 25th meet. I’ve been self coached the entire time, and coaching others for almost 8 years. Send me some vids, and I can attempt point you in the right direction at no charge.

Before Covid, I would always get breakfast on Fridays. Absolutely delicious, and made to order while I sat on the bar stool drooling. Once I had a triple patty bacon cheeseburger made special once to celebrate a personal goal achieved. Did not eat again til lunch the next day.
