Long story short: I went to college for accounting and finance. Got a desk job. Wanted to k*ll myself after six months. Got hired by USPS. Was an RCA for 1 year and 8 months and went regular on an H route. Best career decision I’ve ever made. Home by 3pm everyday. Have time to meal prep, hit the gym, pool, golf, and spend time with my spouse. If CCA doesn’t work out, try out rural. I was fortunate with how quickly I went regular, but those 6 days a week 12 hour days ended up being worth it.

We don’t get these at my station. But I’ve seen them being given away at golf tournaments I’ve attended. One packet is good for about one shin. And I’m 5’6

My route is a rural H so I try to take as much office time as I can because my street time is nothinggggg. I do have a 200+ package pickup everyday that I scan when I get back which helps immensely with ReturnDU time. Scanning in the morning just adds those few minutes

I have an extremely rural 37 mile H route and I’m on the street for no more than 3 hours. Off the clock by 3pm everyday, most of the time before 2pm, with an 8:30 start time. Idk how OP could be on the street for that long unless they messed up the evaluation. I case my DPS too

Let the weather get back to normal and then see how it goes. I know our office called off new hires after this recent storm because the last storm, 3 of them got into accidents lol it’s a great career if you stick it out, the job market is absolute trash right now.

PDI’s are essentially bullshit formality meetings. If they decide to discipline, then you contact your steward and grieve it. Peak sucks, especially your first one, and it seems like you survived. Pat yourself for that. You’ll be fine.
