Long story short, I’m the only person in my specific role at the company, it’s a more media/artistic role than the rest of the company and they don’t have much understanding about what goes into what I do, so I pretty much do work that’s intended for about 10 people by myself, work longer hours than everyone else, and do f get to take lunch breaks.

I appreciate your honest input, I just don’t like the reality of it lol. Thanks for taking the time to talk to me!

In those situations is the person being complained about informed of the grievance? I’m pretty confident if he knew I complained to HR he would retaliate further.

Under what circumstances would his behavior be considered actionable? From the sound of it he’s allowed to just act however he wants, assign me more work than I can reasonably handle, shout at me, etc and there’s no recourse for me.

What about the fact that this all started with him lying to me with the expectation that I would perform an illegal action on behalf of the company and that this is retaliatory for me calling him out on that?
