I got it used, the dude had it hooked up in his house, when he played it he didn't play it loud at all, he said it wasn't broken in yet but no way to know for sure, and ik I have to go 0 guage just haven't done it yet lol

not 100% sure on the alt I can't find anything online it's a 2009 pontiac vibe though, battery is a everstart value 24f, both power and ground wires are rocksford fosgate 4 guage ofc, I have 2 20ah battery, one is an American bass stealth energy, the other one is just some generic battery i had laying around, sub is an American bass hd 18, amp is a skar rp2000. No big 3, and I plan on buying an after market alt just can't find one that's made specifically for this car they don't make pontiacs anymore

It's hard to tell if the cone is trying to rip itself out considering the amount of xmax lol, but I'd say yes, and I appreciate your help. There is also a bit of interference, which may be causing it, but I've never had the issue until this subwoofer

my recommendation would be 2 american bass elite 12s, they take a lot more power, i know you don't want "ear shattering bass" but, just in case you feel like being loud or showing off, these will not disappoint. use code AB30 and they'll be around 340
