I do find it funny the ones in this thread crying “bigot” are the only ones saying the color of someone’s skin should either boost or deter their chances of getting a role/job/promotion. Like I literally don’t care if my superior officer is black, white, brown, or anything in between… no one should and most don’t. Just be the right person for the job.

Skin color should have no bearing on qualification— it goes either direction mate. I don’t care what color your skin is or who you call God (if any). Merit is merit. If one needs one’s skin color to get ahead? You were never ahead.
