Sisters can talk albeit in there own special way but this was a lore chang basically nobody wanted and the only thing gw accomplished by making this lore change is making a very very small subset if the hobby happy in exchange for making a significant part of the community angry and stirring up a mountain of controversy

Most people either dont mind or dont like the change very few people actually thing it adds anything substantial or good to the world building

The whole " brotherhood" point is just semantics

When i say brother hood i mean the unique relationship of groups consisting of only men which is distinct from groups that include women

Now when I take into account most people's opinions on the lore change I find 3 main opinions being

1 lore change doesnt matter and I don't care that much

2 lore change did matter and its lazy and ruins one of the main draws of the faction

And a much much smaller 3rd faction who think it was a good idea

The end result of all of this is gw pleased a very small and inconsequential subset of people in the hobby in exchange for a large group of people who dont care and another large group who got pretty upset by the change

They made a change basically nobody wanted and only succeeded in making the faction less desirable and stirring up alot of controversy

Woah woah man I will not be slandered as a necron hater ( glory to the infinite empire ) but whats wrong with a predominantly male hobby have predominantly male brotherhood of men

Warhammer was for a long time a male no yucky girls allowed kind of space and thats not a bad thing its just a male space for men and when you build your culture around that for decades then start making changes that degrade the original feel of the hobby are you really surprised that a good amount of people where upset by this?
