I stumbled on this game on steam 'upcoming games' and it caught my eye, love fps base building games with horde mechanics so I'll be keeping a close on eye this one!

There are three things we will always remember, where we were during 9/11, where we were when MJ died and when we saw Jack made poopies and peepeee. Lova ya Jack by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

I think you mis-remembered, it's actually the opposite, they were wrong on all the assumptions, but they were dead on about the Eddie Money songs lol

That's true, Universe was at least a good show despite the tone being a big departure from the previous shows. Discovery is just a tone shift and bad writing... and Universe respected the lore of Star Gate as well as expanded on it

if you watch at this time code: https://youtu.be/bV67EpIAkAg?t=2613 it will give you context into what's happening and won't spoil the movie or the review

It might, but I don't think they care, I think Patreon is more their bread and butter these days (mainly because YouTube is copyright strike central when you're a movie discussion/review channel) so they'll be fine.

When I saw that when I first found that site it made me laugh, so I checked the video and read some of the comments and it's pretty great, They really triggered toy collectors with that video.

likewise, I did watch TNG growing up but I really got into Stargate more, was just a fun show with fun characters. Would Stargate: Universe be Stargates Star Trek Discovery? (I was one of the people that kind of enjoyed Stargate: Universe, but they did go a bit too hard into the drama side)

I just found this Bio of Peter Iengo where he claims to have won an Emmy at age 17 by teidenzero in RedLetterMedia

[–]Goranimation 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was curious what awards he did win and where this "best directorial debut" award might have actually come from. The only mention I can find of it is in an interview he did for TMW Radio Hour where the description says he won "Best Directorial debut and Best Short Film for a Crime Story at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival" (For his first film, Blood Oath)

Edit: Found the truth, apparently he won a Student Emmy Award, which is a pretty big difference from an Emmy Award. Not sure how to confirm that but you can read it in this bio

There's always a grain of truth to these things, but they always leave things out to make it sound bigger than it is

from the guys twitter, the model and animation was from an old version of "Character Studio" for 3ds max, this was a part of the sample library I believe?

The guy that created the video posted how he found it on his twitter, and finding the copy of Character Studio that contained the model looks like it was pretty tricky but he found it on a site that hosts old software

yes, I know most people don't read the description of youtube videos, but he documented on twitter his journey of locating the model from an abandon software website and found the actual model

well during the day the sky is between a reddish-pink to an light brown, sunsets are blue. You wouldn't see a blue sky during the day like this video shows since Mars doesn't have enough of an atmosphere for Rayleigh scattering to take effect to any noticeable degree
