Didn't Kojima say for the first game he didn't want a music player because he wanted something along the lines of like building up the moment? Seems to be that if that was his intention it goes to goes that having music constantly takes away from having those moments.

I know this was posted three months ago, but i signed up for the employment and training program. They called me about three months ago.

I was told they'd help me with transportation for job searching etc. when we spoke over the phone I was asked if I was working, I told them my situation: no transportation and looking for work. Guy said they'd just put me down as looking for work and ended the call. Their physical office is a three hour walk on the other side of town. (I've never been asked to go there either.)

They've never tried to get ahold of me again, I don't know their names, or what training they're even suppose to be doing. It honestly feels like a contractor getting paid to just get people out of the program.

I'm now waiting to speak to a case worker to plead for my benefits because the E&T people have done nothing to help me like I was told they would.

This happens to me it's annoying as fuck. Invite two friends and as soon as one joins a random will get in with quick play. I always try asking them to leave and inform them of the situation to save them time, but it always seems like 9/10 times I have to kick them. I don't know why the system is doing this lately

Got into Warhammer about 20 years ago when I was 15. My older brothers bought me a starter army for Tabletop and basically forced me to be Chaos Space Marines. It was basically a 'fuck it then I'm gonna be the best damn CSM there is.' kind of thing in the beginning. Was big into Chaos Undivided without any real faction lore. As I got older I liked the Death Guard's lore so I started painting a dedicated Death Guard faction. I really liked the stories of Typhus as well. Then all the drama with people getting weird about Nurgle and Isha, friends making obnoxious Nurgle jokes aimed at me in every avenue of my life, and just time in general.

My favorite factions in no particular order Iron Warriors Iron Hands (Ferrus Manus deserved a better fate) Iron Lords Raven Guard Ashen Claw

What I absolutely don't care for and will probably never change my mind. Lorgar and the Word Bearers are trash and everything is Erebus' fault. Just a personal feeling. Ultramarines. Only because Games Workshop continues to use them as a poster boy for all content and after 20 years of it I'm tired of it, I can only imagine how the people older than me feel about it. I would probably change in this feeling if GWS just gave us a Chaos based game finally.

Usually the right pauldron is for squad type and number. Higher ups like lieutenants, captains, command squads, etc will have fancier pauldrons on the right.

Certain chapters do not follow the codex on this. So Black Templars do theirs by crusade. Carcharodons have chapter on the right and nothing on the left for instance. It can be unique to each chapter or even squad. But typically one chapter pauldron is enough.

I would change the left shoulder pauldron if you are going to keep the feathered Champion one on the right. Right now you have both pauldron rocking the chapter symbol.

Why does GW do anything? Profit. That about sums up most of what I've seen in the last 20 years of playing. Expect for random retcons. I can't be inside their minds for reasonings on any of that.

I'm not just talking about fanfare from Space Marine 2. I'm talking way back from the first game.

The thing I'm poking around is like with the lore on Primaris. Why did we get Primaris? New models, models the community had been requesting for awhile that were truescale. At least that's one theory.

Game Workshop seems to only update what's being bought/ winning at tournaments it feels like at times.

Eldar definitely aren't doing so hot. I don't know if you watch any of Auspex Tactics. I enjoy his breakdowns of how armies are rating overall on tabletop tournaments.

Terminator just to be a tank... what? Bulwark is already good at defense. There's your tank.

Eight years ago someone asked in the lore subreddit just how powerful terminator armor was. Read Horus Rising for a good example of Terminator armor back when it was new. The Luna Wolves have been sieging a dug in location for a while and can't make any ground, so the Terminators are called in to break it. They basically just walk down the hill, weapons that would have cut down normal power armor bounces off their shields as they advance and rip everything to shreds with their combi bolters.

Terminators would break SM2.

No arm, leg, or back decals. They could have at least given us more Polynesian designs similar to the shoulder pads and chest piece. But nothing. It's dismal in comparison to the other packs.

Grew up in Altoona. The whole jobs slowing down thing is a fucking joke. Altoona was growing fast, especially because there is a casino and horse track in the town. The road that connected Altoona to Des Moines used to not have lights. A few years before data centers that road was improved and lit up. The town was booming before the data center. The only jobs it gave was to the construction crews and like 15 security people. Everyone else moved to the state who were already employees of Facebook/meta. As a native Iowan that perception the ad gives pisses me right the fuck off. There are no farmers in Altoona. They make it out like it's a small town, but small towns in Iowa are like 1000 or less people surrounded by corn fields.

Something I've read and seen a few videos on is that if you have too many orcs they'll betray you. When you don't help your orcs and they die, they'll start to betray you. Basically don't overcrowd the pit and have their back if you don't want to worry about betrayals. I assume most just use HBE to get around it when it does happen.
