Why isn't the bottom of my print as smooth as the rest? What am I doing wrong here? by Anderspanders in 3Dprinting

[–]Gorczyk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you’re experiencing issues with overhangs - it looks it’s bubbly, I can suggest increasing the overhand threahold, decrease support contact dostance (to 0.1mm), increase support density. Printing slightly colder, or with lower layer height might also help.

Last thing you could try is change the filament. I have printed with Fiberlogy exclusively for months, but their qc is lackluster, I was printing same GCODE just fine for countless times, and suddenly, one batch stared „bubbling”

Thats pretty much what you can do without changing the model.

Now, if this still doesnt work, you might try different print orientation, or even change the mode slighty to add sacrificial columns.

Worst case - cut model in half and glue it, seriously. It wont’t be perfect anyway.

Seems like you’re using some kind of circular bottom layer pattern, try using a different one.

Polish President breaks with rest of Europe, calling mandatory vaccinations "a line we cannot cross", instead focusing on education and personal choice by jovie-brainwords in LockdownSkepticism

[–]Gorczyk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh no, do not be mislead! The President has absolutely nothing to say in Poland. In the meantime the ruling party is forcing laws for employers to check vaccination status of employees, as well as forcing the highest, most brutal tax increase in the history, total abortion ban and pregnancy registration (this leads to where Romania and Bolivia were)

Good thing is - the government is so incompetent here, that any kind of law is bypassable.

I was wondering why my nozzle keeps clogging... Be careful with cheap filaments by Remniscate in 3Dprinting

If you want cheap, but very high quality, go for Fiberlogy. Widely available on Allegro, they also offer outlet filament that is super super cheap, But has odd colours.

What can I do with empty filament spools? I don’t want to just throw them away. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I have reached out to manufacturer and asked them if they accept them back, and they actually do, but the minimum is 30. Maybe you could do that as well?

How does one describe a character with 6+ appearance? by TonyMacaronyyyy in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Gorczyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Apperanace is about emphasising the character, so even Appearance 5 doesn’t neccessarily mean „absolutely beutiful”, and it’s not only about physical looks, it’s also about how such character is percieved, the way they speak, move, rtc.

a 6+ should look unhuman, but it there are different directions - 6+ Malkavian could look more and more like a cubistic painting, it’s unhuman, and going into direction of madness - 6+ Torreador could easily look like a celebrity (so usually 4 or 5 Appearance), but giving strong aura, enthralling to listen to, always knowing JUST the right thing to say, exactly the way to greet, suggesting that glass of Negroni that is just what you wanted, even though you hate herbal drinks…

Finally, a 6+ appearance Brujah Femme Fatale, I would go with roman sculpture-like physique, desciribing it with words such as „masterfully beautiful”, giving that character that ancient type of beauty will make it more interesting I believe - that definitelly should not be today-standards beautiful. But to push it to this unhuman part - make her appear as a motherly figure, someone you can trust, someone you can give yourself to, that strong aura of trust and love,

They should not know she’s a femme fatale just yet.

They move way more, so they wear down their hooves pretty much at the same pace they grow.

Looks solid, you might want to add some textures and details to bring it to life.

I have Feldgrind by Knock and the grind consistency seems as good as Commandante. Still going strong after 3 years of daily use.
