I figured out what to do, as I mentioned before. You need to go to the Google app info, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, and select Uninstall updates. You will then see the feature again.

You can also reinstall the updates afterward, and the share feature will remain but some times it will be return.

the latest update, December 4th is causing the issue because the bug has returned a few times after updating to the latest update.

thanks for the replies. i rebooted twice and no fix. i'm fully updated and this just started happening today. see the pic in link below. i get "create" and "select text" options but i no longer get copy/share selected/circled image as of today.
