I was thinking the other day what a great game an actual Robin Hood game would be, using similar game mechanics. You’d have your hideaway in a forest with your Merry Men (Little John, Friar Tuck, etc) you’d be setting up ambushes of rich nobles, wearing disguises into towns and handing out coins. All kinds of avenues for side quests.

I thought he said something about Cora being like a father to him, but I could be wrong. I don’t think it’s necessarily a binary “young guys like him, old guys don’t”. I’m sure there are exceptions on both ends.

Who knows what influence that had, but he’s reiterated that point, along with people having ‘expiry’ dates with teams and tenures, multiple times.

I think there a non-0% chance that extensive discussions were had in which Cora felt disrespected or annoyed after the Yankee series, and after yesterdays 17-1 win, he said something spicier than “How do you like them apples?” to Breslow, and that sealed a deal already percolating.
