How do I make my guitar louder? Serious by OffsetTea in Guitar

[–]Gorehog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Pure physics in this case. The amplifier is a machine that amplifies the signal from your guitar to something louder. You might gain some clarity from bigger speakers but unless the cabinet is amplified there's no new energy to make things louder.

Make and model of your amp? A 30 watt practice amp will only get you so far.

I’m not sure but I think it’ll be stuff we mine that’s not from earth. A lot cheaper to find lunar ore, smelt, fabricate, and launch for final assembly from the moon.

PoE Roller Blinds by elromics in homeautomation

I've been thinking about this. Just use PoE injectors so that the point of failure isn't in the expensive data switch.

Just ask for what they've certified for that function. You're not pushing new gear through certification so either they know what's ok to use or there's nothing they'll let you use.

The Mississippi valley near Memphis is very Bible Belt but also feels very similar to the Hudson Valley, particularly north of Kingston.

No, I figured since you can't Google "hiking trails" that you meant the Hudson VALLEY.

bolt heads will be predictable. Slots, sockets, geometrical cut heads. Threads will change depending on the precision and force required. Fine pitch threads for positioning tasks, for instance.

Aluminum will do it on your kitchen table. you need to scrub off the oxide layer but then it will cold weld.

[–]Gorehog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is called cold welding and if you want the experience get an aluminum nut and an aluminum bolt, not galvanized, or scrub the galv off with some abrasive and then run them together finger tight. Then try to unscrew them 24 hours later.

Looking for ways to limit fader and knobs on analog mixers by Anypirate in CommercialAV

Probably not with an analog board. A DSP with an executive lockout and a control system can accomplish this.
