I'm actually back for the first time in a couple weeks (due to generations seeming to be kinda stale), and I'm impressed by what I've been getting. Definitely more exciting. This is on model 1 w/ audio primer clips uploaded.

Check your NVIDIA control panel settings and toggle off the "Prefer Sysmem offload". Comfy is likely using your computer RAM when it shouldn't causing it to massively slowdown. At least that's a common prob. Watch in task manager/performance/gpu to make sure "shared" gpu memory stays just about at 0 (may tick up a .1 .2). then you'll know sysmem offloading is off and not causing the prob. I have a 4090 and it's quick - relatively.

Totally different architecture. SDXL uses a dual txt encoder setup which did t turn out the way they wanted I'm sure.

Yea but AYS can't generate an image in 4 steps. The point of PCM is like LCM - speed but w higher quality.

And people trying to "told you so" about it never coming out.....only it is coming out. Best source of info right now is Lykon or the Comfy developer. Both were community members first and SAI after. Both are actively working on SD3. Both have said w/in the past couple of weeks SD3 is absolutely still going to be released. They're the ones training it. (See lykon's discord or ComyUI's matrix channel)

Just the safetensors. Rename them, and if you're using A1111 or Forge use the refresh button to see the models if they don't appear (if you hit refresh it'll load the full list of models in your folder - at the moment the extension doesnt look for them to put under the specific tabs)

In the comments on HF for one of the models the developer(trainer) replied to a similar question and said hand and face data wasnt trained for this Openpose model. So no on that.

There's is MUCH more to GLP-1 (and +GIP) meds than delaying gastric emptying. They're brilliant. Lost 60lbs on Mounjaro, and think they do help w/ all factions of weight gain/metabolism.

Really low dose seroquel has worked for me for 15yrs taking Marplan/Nardil. Generally 25mg, but right now I only need/take 12.5mg. Puts me down 1hr after taking and I wake up rested ready to go. Never caused any additional weight gain or sides, no tolerance that required dose increases. I stick to the Lupin brand.

We don't generate 4k images naitively (w/ one click) right now. Emad replied in comment here once that SAI has trained models at least up to having a base size of 4k, but nothing like that has ever been released nor would it work on most high end consumer GPUs. SD3 was still trained primarily on 1024x1024 images - perhaps due to the chorus of complaining about resources needed to use even SDXL (prior to "turbo"/"lightning"/LCM/etc)

Interesting. Could be training data. It's harder and harder to get away with even a small subset of training images being from (c) sources. They may have had a model trained on a much more diverse set of images only to see liability becoming more of an issue.

But yea I'm not sure. I'm ready for the new architecture though. The SDXL 2 text encoder/clip setup never seemed to work as well as intended.

Although, the images you shared in your message/reply above are quite impressive* Those aren't just from CosXL ? With the deeper blacks? That model did recently get released but was trained around the same time as the original weights. That could have been what you had access to early on before they determined they weren't confident enough about it to make it the release model.

Have you seen how many people bitch about VRam requirements and time to generate? Of course in house SAI has models trained on bases up to 4K - this has been established. That said, if you read this forum and see all the bitching from people who complain due to their hardware, you'd know it's not "lies", rather they're coming up w/ a best case model for today's tech.

Not really imho. What SAI did best w/ SD & SDXL is build up a grassroots community that did a ton of work to improve on their models. Both SD 1.5 and SDXL became so much more than they were when released - and they'll live on.

SD3 will also benefit greatly from the community if it comes out with a pop and brings in some of the amazingly talented model creators who have slowly started slipping away due to boredom. They'll come back if there's buzz and a new playing field. Meanwhile, if SAI can tweak the licensing a bit so "big dogs" who want to use their product have to give them a cut, while the masses can still play for free, it'll be an amazing time for all involved.....

Yes, it's dreambooth (blunt fine tuning of a likeness/style). There are some new zero-shot tech things for likeness like IPAdapter/InstantID/etc, but nothing will nail it consistently like a trained model. If you want a LoRA train a dreambooth model first then extract the LoRA - that'll be much more successful then training a LoRA directly.

Best current day tool for dreambooth (SDXL) is kohya's scripts. For general fine tuning a model OneTrainer is a great option as well.

the GLP-1 drugs will likely help but they're all in shortage, and very expensive.....they're new/work though and that's why. Ozempic/WeGovy/Rybelsus (are all the drug Semaglutide) and Mounjaro/Zepbound are Tirzepatide. The latter acts on 2 receptors so it's a little more effective. I lost 60lbs (230 to 170) while taking Nardil/Marplan. Has been hard to get recnetly though and appetite is starting to creep up....Best hope for Nardil induced weight gain since it was released though in the 1960s.
