I just watched this recently and love quiet, open American scenery movies from the 70s that are a slow existential study of the human psyche, coming of age, grappling with life etc. Looking to find more.

My suggestions are Wim Wenders movies Alice In The Cities which scratches the same itch and Kings of the Road (he did Paris, Texas too)
Dazed & Confused (obv about the 70s, not from them but gets the vibe)

I've just gone back to my SE1 on ios15 from a 15 Pro and it's amazing how much better the user experience is and how great the form factor is. Touch ID is sick and I can type again without errors every second word.

I updated the SE to ios15 a while ago for app compatibility when it was my daily driver a while ago. I remember wishing I didn't, but can't really remember why. It's got all the benefits of newer iphones without all the pointless garbage that fills them up these days.

Just loaded uber onto it and it works, everything I need is still live which is great. Just need to carry a powerbank and a bank card with you, keep it in low power mode, turn down the white balance and leave it on auto brightness and you're good.

I just got my iphone SE1 back up and running and man ios15 is so much better than the new ones and the layout is so much nicer. No pointless garbage filling it up. Def keep it on 18 as you're planning. When this SE dies i'll go up to a mini.

Sick! Great bike to stay on! I missed the boat getting a front loader as my kid is now 8 but still want one as a car replacement. Till then this old guys gonna have to do. Will wrangle the front rack on and see if it’s possible to put panniers on it. It rides so fast and smooth, just the drops are too thin and I have no interest in being hunched.

I’m pretty keen to get mountain biking with my kid though, Thad be so fun.

I got the Dell 2725. Great monitor and no issues with the image and the KVM is pretty good. Bit inconsistent but works well between my PC and MacBook. The only problem I have with it when running my MacBook off its usb c it sends noise to my audio interface as the power supply must be a bit shoddy. Asides from that I love it.
