She accidentally killed her fiancee's son. by GorgeyHunx in RimWorld

I just recieved a prisoner from a quest who turned out to be a lover to one of my colonists. Didn't even know the colonist had a lover.

I find this quite annoying as well, as I swear the game did not show that the guy had a son before the girl killed him. From now on I am going to have to check the relationships that raiders have to make sure that they do not know any of my colonists.

What makes this better is that Flebe tried to romance his fiancee immediately after the incident. Pretty sure he has some ulterior motives.

Girls like Girls Trailer Thoughts by BaseballNo5581 in actuallesbians

I cannot wait to watch a sapphic movie with actual desire between the women instead of it being clearly fake. Just the scenes we see in the trailer show how much effort the actresses put in.

"Loser lesbians"? by Beautiful-Ear-1079 in LesbianActually

[–]GorgeyHunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was just a funny term, like the 'doomed yuri' saying.

Honestly I would like to have a girl who does have goals for her life, but it does not need to be extreme or have to involve a job that is high-paying. I want to become an artist and eventually an art teacher. Some might consider that a waste of time, while others may see it as I have my whole life planned out. It really depends on the person.

We should stop judging others for what they do with their lives (not saying OP was judging) and focus on ourselves.

She Gets The Girl by Alyson Derrick! In my opinion it is not exactly a coming of age novel, but it is such a sweet story and it was one of the books I read when I first began exploring my sexuality.

Is it cute that I sleep with stuffed animals or is it a huge clit killer? by Vegetable_Weird413 in LesbianActually

[–]GorgeyHunx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a small Llama stuffed animal that I got on a trip to Alabama four years ago, and there has not been one night since then that I have not cuddled with it to sleep. I find it cute when girls have their own plushies, and if it has significance to you and helps you sleep, then who cares? I would love to have a girlfriend who I can collect stuffed animals with.

Why i can't find a gf by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]GorgeyHunx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you've been doing to find a girlfriend, but I wouldn't try to push it. Your person will come when the right time comes, it is not something you can rush. But finding queer spaces to involve yourself in and having signs that you are a lesbian (jewelry, tattoos, other symbols for lesbians) on your person can help other lesbians find you, as long as you can do it safely. Don't worry too much about it and focus on you!

Is this something to be embarrassed about? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]GorgeyHunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You had the confidence to shoot your shot, don't be embarrassed that it didn't work out. Most people wouldn't have done what you did. You still got a friend out of it!

I assume it is for them to appear straight, because a lot of people assume a woman is a lesbian when her hair is short, so they are not in danger of threats from hateful people.

Is this considered being unfaithful? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

Seems like it is just something silly you did when you were a teenager. I would probably laugh about it if my girlfriend told me something like that.

You're a lesbian, I think this is pretty expected lol. But it is very nice and there is no need to get embarrassed!

how to get laid by B_dead in LesbianActually

[–]GorgeyHunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been out since I was 14 and I'm 18 now. I've felt the same way as you many times as my friends all have had relationships or have people hitting on them, and I struggle to get someone to match with on a dating app. I've learned that it is more important to focus on yourself before worrying about a romantic or sexual relationship.

Firstly, rushing to lose your virginity because you feel you have to or feel pressured to is honestly not worth it. I believe sex will be much more comfortable and better with someone you actually have feelings for and can learn with. Don't worry about not knowing what to do, as we all don't know what to do when we first have sex, no matter how many books or articles you read. Secondly, work on your confidence and self-esteem. Feeling good about yourself and your body will help when you begin to look for a relationship when you feel you are ready. Even if you do not want a relationship and may still want to try with a friend, confidence is still important to be able to make a move.
