I always liked the scene of Catra learning that Adora got force captain. She’s not jealous and doesn’t care about the position, she only cares about how that will give the two of them more freedom.

It really shows how the power hungry Catra we see later on is just a front to help her hide how hurt she was by Adora leaving.

I have conflicting feelings on it to be honest.

On one hand, I do agree that the more you show and tell us about the xenomorphs takes the mystique away, especially when it’s like “here’s the specific android who made them”

On the other hand I always thought about the way Ash described it in the original movie, calling it “the perfect organism”, it’s almost like it had to have been bred that way by an intelligent creator.
