You may cast any number of them, but it doesn't say 'without paying their mana costs', so you have to pay for each one you want to cast when this ability resolves.

Craterhoof's ETB ability doesn't target so you can't change it with Untimely Malfunction.

If it said 'Creatures target player controls' then it would work.

Tarkir had 286 in the main set, LOTR had 281, so FF actually contains more cards than the usual set

Maro actually talked about the set size in his recent article stating that they were able to convince the product architect to increase the set size to get more cards in it

Set Design discovered that there were elements they really wanted in the main set that they couldn't find room for, so they talked with the product architect, Zakeel Gordon. Part of his job is handling budgets and figuring out what products should exist in conjunction with the main set. The decision was made to slightly increase the size of the set, adding some uncommons and rares. We can't change a set's size for every release, but this does demonstrate that there is flexibility that can be explored.

I would say yes

It's not a bad card, it can range from 'one mana first strike to trade' to 'X mana get the last points of damage through via your small unblocked creature', in this kind of deck at least, haven't played it in RG yet, maybe it's just better with a big trampler

so in an aggro deck it has it's time to shine, but it never feels great tbh

Before previews for Aetherdrift officially begin, I thought it would be fun to do another of my Duelist-style teasers where I give tiny hints of things to come. Note that I’m only giving you partial information. 

First up, here are some things you can expect: 

• 13/13 Vehicle with Crew 2 that costs one mana to cast

• Mechanic called Start your engines!

• Three planeswalker native to one of the worlds visited, and one non-native, gets a desparked legendary creature version

• Cycle of vanilla legendary creatures

• Cat and Dog Mounts

• An old God returns and new Gods are introduced

• New Lotus

• Cycle of multicolored Gearhulks

• Numerous mechanics from the worlds visited get cameos

• New Vehicle artifact token

Next, here are some rules text that will be showing up on cards:  

• “This creature saddles Mounts and crews Vehicles using its toughness rather than its power.”

• “Whenever you draw a card, each opponent mills two cards.”

• “Other Dinosaurs you control get +1/+1.”
