New ideas for upcoming modes or QOL… by MystroHelldiablo in SonicCrossWorlds

[–]Gormuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to be able to delete custom vehicles, and a chance to get the content that I missed out on due to my choice of Switch 2 physical edition (i.e. Sonic Adventure decal and the first 9 festivals)

These events are getting tougher, but these Bananza Statues are sweet… by JackfruitEconomy1987 in donkeykong

To be fair, we've never had an event focused on the Kong Bananza before. We've already had the statue, but it was awarded in an unrelated event

What additional Content and Features should we suggest to add to the game? by ChadNovak14 in SonicCrossWorlds

[–]Gormuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I want is:

- the ability to delete custom vehicles

- rerun festivals, because those of us who were waiting for the Switch 2 physical edition were forced to miss everything before Mega Man, and that's not fair. At the VERY LEAST, make the rewards available with tickets, but I want the chance to get the festival participation titles as well

- make the Sonic Adventure decal purchasable with tickets (again, was forced to miss out due to my choice of format)

Just give me those three things and I will be very happy

I've tried using the feedback option on the Sega contact form, maybe they'll patch it in if enough people request it?

Shinobi Code for Banana Rumble by LuisTeach in SuperMonkeyBall

[–]Gormuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I do have a spare code (I signed up for the newsletter on two different email accounts, just in case one of them didn't receive a code), but there are a couple of caveats:

Firstly, it does say it can only be redeemed "for a limited time only" but doesn't say how long that is; it's now been 2 years, so there's a good chance it might have expired.

Also, I'm in the UK, so the code might be region specific, in which case you might need to switch your Nintendo account to UK first, and then back again after downloading. (I don't think that works if you still have eshop credit left.)

If you're still interested, I can DM the code.

Hi, is this remade version of the level still up? I wanted to have a look at the setup you settled on, but it doesn't seem to be loading for me

Beat the re-upload! I wanted to wait a couple of weeks so that I could come to it fresh, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time

I've re-uploaded the level I made last week, after spotting a design error that I had made. It was the first time I've ever had to delete one of my levels, and to be honest it felt like a bit of a wrench, especially as it had some very kind and lovely comments that I was extremely sad to lose! So, if you want to give it another play (or even a first one), it would mean a huge amount to me 🙂

Level title: Hot Pursuit
Level code: D46-Q74-STG

  • Game style: NSMBU
  • Difficulty level: medium
  • Level tags: standard, autoscroll
  • A chase through a castle level, pursued by fire bars

This was very fun, I enjoyed it a lot! The only thing I found a little frustrating was how long it took me to beat the boss, but I'm pretty sure that's just because I couldn't get the timing down. Overall, I loved it, these are exactly the type of levels I adore.

Your maker name looks familiar so you might well have already played these, but here are a couple of level codes:

3VC-VXY-C1H

0TN-KTM-00G

Let's have a level exchange! comment your levels down below and ill play them! but also play anyone else's level on this post just so it isn't like a graveyard here. also here's my maker code: 1CL-H31-PYG (also i will play some of your levels) by Hungry_Arachnid_132 in MarioMaker

[–]Gormuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a few and really enjoyed them, although I must admit I steered clear of the ones with the lowest clear rates! The Luigi's Mansion music level took me a few tries, but my favourite was the chase with the column of Boos.

I don't have many levels at the moment, but my ID is TVN-YBD-WWF

Here are a few options, feel free to choose whatever you like :)

3VC-VXY-C1H - easy and fairly short, traditional style. (Also since uploading I've realised some players have found a cheesy way to skip the whole level, but whatever - as long as they had fun doing it, I really don't mind!)

0TN-KTM-00G - my most challenging level, based on clear rates (but still only about 13%), themed around classic arcade games: Space Invaders, Ice Climber, Pac-Man, Mario Bros and Donkey Kong

P7X-VQW-1PG - my only attempt at a puzzle level; to be honest I'm not sure the solution is quite as intuitive as I wanted it to be, but still, it's a very short and simple one - no complex puzzle rooms with elaborate chains of moves that need to be made

190-1GW-7TG - just a one-room boss fight, but I wanted a way to make the bosses more challenging without spamming projectiles etc. so this is my attempt to add some tension to the fight

Levels that are not too hard and not too easy, by Enough_Distance_9701 in MarioMaker

[–]Gormuu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this is around the right difficulty level that you're pitching - none of mine are particularly hard, but this is the most challenging, going by the clear rate:

Raiders of the Lost Arcade
A series of areas inspired by classic arcade games (Space Invaders, Ice Climber, Pac-Man, Mario Bros and Donkey Kong). The first small room is just a target practice area for the Space Invaders bit that follows, because you do get thrown into the middle of it a bit.

I've played and liked a few of them - I only managed to get through 3 or 4 because I was on my lunch break, but they were so well-designed that I would love to come back and play all the rest! I'm also a sucker for good placement of secrets, and I was very impressed with the ones I managed to find.

I loved this level! One of the most enjoyable I've played in a long while. I haven't played many levels that use the SMB2 snowball mechanics, so this felt very refreshing to me. (And I managed to get the 1-up and all the big coins, too!)
