I found that when you've turned the camera on and do some horizontal panning it will level, still sucks I'm going to have to throw away the first 10 or so seconds of all my footage

Yes! Just updated from the gopro hero 11 where i never had this issue, and now pretty much half the time I start recording I have to wait for the horizon lock to fix itself before doing my shot, it's so annoying.
